This got me 90%, but one thing to be clear about, seems like in my testing DISTINCT applies to the FULL row, so if you have a second column you could get more than 1 row for each category ID if column B varied, for instance: Row1: Category ID 1, Category Type 1 Row2: Category ID 1, Category Type 2
