Please how do I change the currency for the shop?
Sarge The Shelter Dog (26 days ago)
Love your videos! Thank you! When I set up Shop it wants my bank info. So I complete it. But no url and FB wants to complete the sale. Other businesses I've seen can direct them to their website. My shop now will do that. I use to be able to do shop the old way, but not now. I did delete shop but still the same. hmmm

You are welcome

Blake from FB, a payment support specialist, simply said this option is currently not available. No way could I use their Store with Redbubble. So maybe a video how to get people to click through to our website or POD page would help. Thanks again!
Ranking Academy (26 days ago)
Thanks. This is very difficult for me to answer since Facebook makes changes regularly and the set up can vary from one country to another.

if somebody returns something, how do i return their money back to their card?
Ranking Academy (1 month ago)
It very much depends on how the payments are being processed.

Great video. Nice to see someone get down into the nuts and bolts of setting up a Facebook store. So it looks like you have to have a stand alone web site to direct customers to for purchasing.
Ranking Academy (3 months ago)
Thanks Douglas. And yes, looks like it would be the preferred solution.

Hi NEang. I don't believe Facebook offers the ability to integrate with ECWID.

There is no longer an option to add a checkout URL or checkout with another website. The Facebook shop is now only for photos of products you sell yourself, and all transactions are done through Facebook. If you are working for another company, or are in direct sales, the option to shop from the third party website is no longer available.
Montana Healthy Living (3 months ago)
Ranking Academy If you’re already set up that way you will see it. But I did contact Facebook and they told me it’s not an option at this time. They said all payments have to go directly through their platform.
Ranking Academy (3 months ago)
This is very strange. I double checked yesterday after your message on my own page and I could definitely see it. I can even PM you a screenshot . Not sure what's happening there. You might want to try the facebook help forum
Montana Healthy Living (3 months ago)
Ranking Academy I’m in the U.S. I tried the process over and over, and was never given the option to checkout using a different website.
Ranking Academy (3 months ago)
Hi Montana and thanks for your comment. I have just doubled check and the Checkout URL option is still available on My facebook shop. Which country are you in?
Mgtow Elite (3 months ago)
Don't you think the return policy is unfair?
Ranking Academy (3 months ago)
You Just need to add the wording "FINAL SALE" in the product description. I would also suggest you tick the product "this product is on sale" and set the correct price
Mgtow Elite (3 months ago)
Under the price box there is a tab. This product is on sale. Is this tab for final sales? There nothing stating Final Sale
Ranking Academy (3 months ago)
If you are referring to the 45 day policy there is a work around. The 45 facebook policy does not apply to products you are selling under Final Sales you can implement a "final sale" policy to the products you are selling. To do this 1. Go the Shop section 2. Under each product click "edit." 3. Add "FINAL SALE" to the description of each product. 4. Save Each product will have to be edited individually For more info go to https://www.facebook.com/payments_terms/commerce_salespolicy/?ref=u2u

checkout url is not available when i set up my products and it seems as if a lot of people are having this problem. Any help i would greatly appreciate it.
Ranking Academy (4 months ago)
Hi Music DX. So i looked into this and on the shop I created for this video I had the very same problem as you. The checkout URL option had disappeared. I tried creating another shop for another business page i own and I could see the option which confirms Facebook didn't make any changes. I believe it's simply a bug. I deleted my original shop from my ranking academy page and started from scratch and the checkout URL option was available again. Give it a try if you can. Hope this helps
Rukan Mamun (4 months ago)
Hi, thanks for this great tutorial. If I want to change from' message' to 'other websites' for payment option how can I do that?Anotherthing , I like to know is that, is there any fee involved selling in facebook marketplace?
Ranking Academy (4 months ago)
Hi Rukan. In answer to your first question. If you have a US Page with a shop that lets people check out on Facebook, you can use Stripe or PayPal to collect payment from customers. And for your second question, no there is no fee to sell on Facebook.

I don't have access on SHOP setting, what should I do?
Ranking Academy (5 months ago)
Go to your page Click on Page Settings from the left menu click on edit page Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "add a tab" You should see the shop option in there If the option is not listed it means it is not available to you. Hope this helps
Charlene Key (6 months ago)
Luc, this will be the first time that I do something like this; what method is used to make the payment - what are the options?
Ranking Academy (6 months ago)
Hi Charlene. It depends on your location. US users can set up an account through Stripe or PayPal. If you're located outside of the US, you can arrange an alternative payment method with your customers, such as a bank transfer or cash upon delivery. Alternatively, you can make visitors check out through your website in which case you can set up whichever method of payment you want.

Where do you have these photos stored that you can get to them so easily and they just move over so easily. Having a hard time with this.
Ranking Academy (8 months ago)
Hi Debbie. For the sake of the video I have sped up the process but it is super simple to do. Just use images that are stored on your PC or on your Facebook gallery.

Ranking Academy (10 months ago)
Rafiq Ahmed Chinoy hi rafiq. If you can't find the shop option it maybe because it''s not available in your country or you don't fulfill the right requirements.
Zombie Headz (1 year ago)
Great vid. So from what I hear, I need to create a LOCAL BUSINESS page first to have the Shop option. Then it seems everything will be linking to my Etsy and Website, it is not like I am just setting up a store on FB... FB is sort of acting like a middle man?
Ranking Academy (1 year ago)
That's correct. it's almost like your window to your shop
