Thank you for sharing, how did you protect your eye sight when coding over 10 hours a day? You seem to to have healthy eyes. My eyes got really tied when I face the screen too long.
IntellijProgrammer (7 months ago)
Thank you for that! Actually I'm the same kind of person like you. For the first two to three hours my mind boggles like anything and then when I get to work it comes up nicely. How to think innovatively without overthinking?

can i work on a big company without cs degree or can i become a successful programmer just by learning online
Programming Hustle (7 months ago)
Can i work on a big company without cs degree? -Yes you can, but you need to have other ways of showing that you will be valuable to them - Degree is a proof to some extend that you can do your job. If you want to become Web Developer then make websites from start to finish(it's important to finish your projects, don't jump from one thing to another), if you want to become Mobile Developer then create apps and put them on playstore, if you want to become Game Developer then create games and etc. This way you will have something to show them and they will know that you can actually code. ----------------- -Another good way is to write blog posts about technology(or Programming Language or whatever you are on) that you are using. This way they will see that you really know what you are talking about. Also if you get some views on your blog chances are that you will get job offers without actually having to apply for a job and now you are in a much better position - but this takes some time, you need put out content consistently for a couple of months or more likely years. ---------------- -You also asked can you work for big companies. For that you need to be good in Algorithms and Data Structures. Best way to learn these 2 in my opinion is by doing competative programming on sites like Codeforces. If you can become decent in CP(Competative Programming) then Job Interviews at companies will be pretty easy for you. Can i become a successful programmer just by learning online? -Of course you can, in fact, only way to become Superstar Programmer is by learning on your own and online.

Would you say photoshop is mandatory for someone trying to be a freelance web developer?
Jae Roberts (7 months ago)
Haha thanks
ST (7 months ago)
Hey, thanks a lot. Yeah, I was going to purchase photoshop for other reasons as well, like painting UV maps, making designs, design/art in gen, but it's just that the cost adds up. I'll look into figma specifically for UI/UX scheming for when I get more into web coding in general, (I'm transitioning from Android app development). P.S. You're really cute :p
Jae Roberts (7 months ago)
If you want to be a freelance web developer, I would suggest Figma (free) first and see if you can accomplish all you need with it. It's a great UI tool and alternative to Sketch and Photoshop. I've been using Photoshop for almost a decade and have been using Figma and Sketch more often as I begin to specialize in UI/UX.

Kindly asking for any help from anyone willing.we all know stories of Saudi Arabia, how strict they are.so for someone who is not allowed to own a laptop(she's a nanny)but got a full internet and smartphone where is the best place she can try practicing to code with her phone for the time being before she travels back to her country?can someone code using a tablet or smartphone?how?.please advise

Anyone who has ever tried coding with a phone how did you go about it

Hey, I guess I am the bursted type, but my issue is that I am still having trouble remembering all of this stuff. It’s so much information, even when taking notes. How do I overcome this?
Aurelian Spodarec (7 months ago)
Awesome video! Though it's short! Unless they were regular :D I'm looking for a place now :D Before 10th September. Though not sure if I'd manage to get a stuio/flat because of the price + I lack stuff. I don't even have a mobile phone ^^ So for recording stuff I'd need to buy things, and I'd rather buy something decent then re-buy it. Though that's not an exuse. I am sorting my sleeping pattern, food and learning more JS. Though I feel this urge to get started ASAP. Especially when I watch you, it feels that I should be there too! : p "should" without doing anything, but.. considering I would ahve done it. And I'm just like you ^^ Plus its not a bad thing in coding. Your subconcious mind actually is connecting dots and has time to think about programming while you have a break. So going deep for few days, and taking few days off, is still good. Its like with muscles. Sometimes taking 2 weeks off will make you stronger by just taking a break. I found that the deeper I go and the mroe ground I cover with programming, the faster I learn and the more I can recall stuff. Then the next day stuff starts to make sense. Last time was trying to solve a bug at the agency I work now, and codun't do it for an hour or two. I comeback the next day, and in two minutes I solved it. This happend many times. I solved it ecause my subconsiouc mind was working on it while me being relaxed + fresh eyes. I will make this happen this year. Not sure if I do it in this channel, I think it'll be better to create everything brand new. Don't want to create a brand or something with my name where I talk about penis or politics and stuff because that's just not needed, better stay out of that sine some people will go brainless and dismiss you or whatever because of politics or shit which has no sense whatsover. I think that's what I do. I'll do it properly. I think getting any flat is fine right. It doesn't has to be perfect... as these here are kinda shit. But thing is they got a contract on like 6months... but does that matter uhh. Either way I have to move out before 10th ^^ my goal, and thats till when I paid the Airbnb.
Im a burster it seems. Ok thanks.

I always find myself starting at the screen and wondering what project to do! Since I don't get to use python at work, it is difficult to find an application for my (terrible) skills... I joined the cybersecurity field 12 months ago but it is so boring! Coding is very interesting. Would be great to generate some income from it. Seems like big data or data science is the way to go with python?

IS CODING A DIFFICULT THING,an will one be able to do it alone without assistance?
Programming Hustle (7 months ago)
There is so much assistance on internet and if you are stuck just ask someone or ask on stackoveflow and you will get answers from people that are probably better than anyone you can find in real life.

Varun Katyal (7 months ago)
Hi bro I m new to programming, I m learning Java, please guide me how much time I shd give to learning Java in 6months or less. Started a week back i m currently giving 2hrs every single day. No Sundays or break. Self learning with a java text book and jdk, netbeans on my computer.
referral madness (6 months ago)
Java is a pain in the ass to learn 😭😭😭
Lucky Arjun (7 months ago)
Varun Katyal ohhh interesting you want to learn programming that's really cool... 😎 but take my opinion if u think its helpful..... As you are new to programming.... It might not better for you to learn java directly... Because java is known as the one of difficult language by most of people..... But you are interesting to learn it due to its scope world wide absolutely good..... But.. Directly diving into java will may be difficult to understand the programming.... What i want to tell you is starr with phython.... If you will become good in it... Its on your choice to learn other languages or continue it..... Because phython is one most popular language worldwide and easier language.... On learning phython django web development.... You can earn money in freelancing.... And you can make it to your life...... Above all..... Learning easier languages will make you feel better and you can understand it so deeply..... Choice on you.... Bye
PyHTMJ (7 months ago)
Varun Katyal but man, it really depends on; like he said... how much time you can stay fully focused, without dying basically
PyHTMJ (7 months ago)
Varun Katyal aha, that makes sense!
Varun Katyal (7 months ago)
+PyHTMJ thank u for ur reply to my query, as I said that I m new to programming and I m learning on my own, I realized thro my research that java is every where and i also have plans to be a programming language tutor which is in great demand in our region specifically for java which is in formal syllabuses. Also I think it would be nice if over a long period of time I may learn other languages but to know and learn java would always b an advantage for analytical skills sharpening as a programmer or teacher.
