The first two female pilots of the air force in UN peacekeeping missions The first two women pilots of Bangladesh Air Force have been sent to the United Nations Peace Keeping Mission in Congo. Today the news of the Ministry of Defense joining their peacekeeping mission has been announced. A press release from the Inter-Services Public Relations Department (ISPR) confirmed the joining of Flight Lieutenant Naima Haque and Flight Lieutenant Tamanna-i-Lotufi. Considering the professional skills and challenges of Bangladesh Air Force and through the necessary process, they have been elected for peacekeeping missions. The press release said that after completing the 65-hour basic helicopter training, the two women pilots had done the responsibility of different squadrons of Bangladesh Air Force. Born in Jessore on 5 June 1993, Flight Lieutenant Tamanna studied at BAF Shaheen College. On 1 December 2012 he was commissioned. Flight Lieutenant Naima was born on 20 April 1990 in Dhaka. The former student of Holy Cross call was commissioned on 1 December 2011.
