You are hot

I think there is something for everyone. I also think we didn't get to see "ALL" of any of the trees long enough to really see what you did. I would have liked to have "seen" more. People can add more and not add as much, but! It is easy to get into a rut and end up doing the same thing every year (or close) boring! Really wish I could have seen the finished product and the tree you said you put the "RED" in- we barely saw at all. It was just kind of confusing and disappointing. So! whoever directed or produced the video itself should be canned with the whistling. lol- But you have really good tips and fun to listen to, just wish I could have seen more of what I saw tidbits of. So sorry, don't mean to sound like a hater. Anything but! Merry Christmas! and hopefully, you got some tips for next year. All meant with love and kindness.

Too much looks bad . The White Sticky outties ( what are you 5 ?) look Terrible ! The tree you showed did a moment with the pink was much better done !

I think I plan on having two trees in the future. One for display that looks professionally decorated and one that is a family oriented event.

Really dislike the whistling. I can’t tune the sound down because I would miss the instructions.
iamloved (2 months ago)
Ya so I've heard. Sorry about that. I'll remember that in the future.
Sandy Johnson (2 months ago)
I cluster my ornament balls in groups of three different ballls and then put them on my tree. I love the way it looks.

I love that idea! Thaks for sharing.

Please, for the love of Christmas, re-edit this video without the whistling. My dog was howling thru the whole video. Was actually painful to the ear. Love the video though. Great tips! Even subscribed :)
iamloved (2 months ago)
That's a great idea! Many are not a fan of the whistling. Live and learn I guess. :) Thanks for subscribing!
Jesus the cool (2 months ago)
Decorating a Christmas tree is supposed to be a family project, especially children. You have turned it into, "see what I do, I'm just so fabulous", sorry.
iamloved (2 months ago)
Jesus the cool I’m sorry you feel that way. My kids totally disagree with your assessment though. We have great family Christmas traditions, including decorating our main family tree together.
Debi (2 months ago)
I love the stickies, I only bought them this year,
Lisa Quigley (2 months ago)
This tree looks far too messy in my opinion.
iamloved (2 months ago)
Lisa Quigley My style definitely isn’t for everyone.

Kathy Goss Atanasov (3 months ago)
I could not handle the whistling! Awful.
iamloved (3 months ago)
Kathy Goss Atanasov Haha. You’re not the first to hate the whistling.
Thanks for these great tips. I can't put ribbon on my tree because it is one of those cashmere trees and the branches don't bend. New subscriber #935!
iamloved (3 months ago)
around the house with cheryl Have you tried using twist ties? They’ll cinch the ribbon on a branch pretty well.

ronni walsh (3 months ago)
Love your ideas! I get a 3 pack of dusters from the $ store (I got about 15 3 packs for my tree). They are the type like the Swiffer you put on the plastic handle. I fluff them out and you can use them to make it look like your tree has snow on the branches or likes it's flocked by connecting them like they are garland. white boas or batting can also be used for this effect as well
iamloved (3 months ago)
Yes! I've seen that! What a great idea! Thaks for sharing!
Caroline Sherrie (3 months ago)
Hello Y love the way you do the decoration ! Thanks a lot 👏 Big Hugh from Belgium 🤓

Beautiful and very non traditional!
iamloved (3 months ago)
It's true... non-traditional. Although I've often thought about tracking down the old silver icicles that we put on the tree when I was a kid. I bet my kids would love those!
Jamie Joy (3 months ago)
Your trees are beautiful. Definitely a designer look. TFS! P.S. I also hated the whistling hahahhaaaaaa :D
Jamie Joy (3 months ago)

The burlap ribbon on the first tree is overpowering. It looks a bit clumsy.
Sue Liles (5 months ago)
Gorgeous! New subbie. Thank you for 5 tips. Will use them this season. Yea!!
Nancy Benefiel (5 months ago)
My main tree is shades of peach, gold and cream. It has a lot of frosted roses on it, pearl garland and the last thing to go on it is hundreds of crystal icicles. I love it. Some years, if we are going to be gone for Christmas, I only put up one tree and this is it
Amy Hoffmann (10 months ago)
I know it is "too early" to be looking at xmas videos but I start early looking for inspiration. I think you are spot on when it comes to decorating trees! And your videos are fun to watch. Because you asked I am going to tell you what I am trying to do this year (2018). I am making a red, white and light green candy tree. I am making a lot of the candy ornaments by hand and buying online a great deal of the decor. Like you I have bins and bins full of xmas stuff but I have never done a basic red theme. It isn't as easy as it sounds. But anyhoo, I love love love your videos and I am subbing and can't wait to see what wonderful things you have in store for us all this year! Did I mention how much I LOVE your channel?? LOL take care.
notebookluvr (2 months ago)
My taste varies from year to year. In about 2012, i started to get really bored of the same old traditional colors and style of decorating. I started to have a different theme or color every year. Last year i started really loving the more traditional/old fashioned Christmas style and colors again. This year, i am totally loving red and i want to do a lot of red. I am not even usually into red, period at all ever. Also, i got a flocked tree last year and i definitely think the color of the tree makes a huge difference in your finished look. Before that i had a white one (which I still have) and a huge green 9 ft one before that. That one was so huge it eas overwhelming to decorate. It was very wide at the base. I got rid of it a few uears back. I really wish you had shown how to apply all of these tips rather than just mostly talking about them. But still helpful either way. Tfs.
iamloved (10 months ago)
Awww thanks Amy! In my mind, it's never too early to plan for Christmas! I love that you're thinking of this year's tree already. For crying out loud, we just had a snow day today, so it sure feels like it's that time of year! Thanks for your feedback. I'm glad you like my channel. Hopefully I'll be able to get some more videos up soon. :)

Love what you have done. Absolutely gorgeous I decorate very much in the same way but I've learned some things from you today and thank you very much hope you have a great holiday season.
iamloved (1 year ago)
Good to hear! Thanks so much. :)
King Goliath (1 year ago)
i like your ideas but the actual tree is SOOO SKINNY!!
iamloved (1 year ago)
It's definitely not a typical size. My place is too small for a traditional tree. In fact, this year my tree is a skinny tree - it makes this one look huge!
Ashley Tyler-Smith (1 year ago)
I LOVE this video! I watch it every year and stop/start it to soak up all the tips and tricks! I especially love sticky outties! Great Job!
iamloved (1 year ago)
Yay! That's great to hear!
Anne Holden (1 year ago)
Too much. Lovely colour coordination.
black berry (2 months ago)
I agree....
iamloved (1 year ago)
It's definitely overstuffed!
ventende (1 year ago)
That's a great decoration scheme. Love both the downplayed cream colored system and the bright colorful setup. They both look a total concept and when it comes together like that almost everything goes. Love it. Merry Christmas 2017.
iamloved (1 year ago)
Thank you!
heidi kurz (1 year ago)
That music makes it impossible to get thru your video
Evangeline Desalisa (2 months ago)
I don't like overcrowded, overdecorated Christmas tree. It looks like it can't breathe and also the one looking on it. Anyway as the saying goes "beauty is in the eyes of the beholder".I prefer the classic ones.
Ellen Hofer (2 months ago)
aside from the whistling I love your video I have no place to store all the totez and boxes required to store all these beaitiful things anymore. I wish I'd seen this when we lived in a very large house. I think I donated at least 10 totez to Goodwill when we moved.
Debbie Savory (2 months ago)
+iamloved same its annoying as fuck
iamloved (1 year ago)
You're not the only person that doesn't like the whistling. :)

"Save money and save time and no need to clean up after..... Buy a projector (flashlight) that makes a picture of Christmas tree on your home wall! you can buy projector that makes picture of Christmas tree on home wall. we got projector at Walmart for 10 dollar. That way you do not need to buy Christmas tree. " You do not need to clean up before and after Christmas tree ( you do not need to worry about sap falling on floor and sticking to floor and leaving stains on the floor)....... Because you buy a projector (like a big flashlight) that makes a "picture of Chrismas tree on your home wall" You can also buy scented sticks that smell like Christmas tree. https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/gemmy-industries-lightshow-projection-plus-whirl-a-motion-snowflakes/6000196730621 https://www.walmart.ca/search/projector

I will be watching this again to get it into my head. Love the ideas. I tried this last year and my tree looked totally different that I have ever done so I am going to add some more “sticky outies” and see what I get.
iamloved (1 year ago)
