You talk too much.....just do it.
Carmen White (2 months ago)
You can do the same by hand, it's not that hard...

Does she have an account on chaturbate?

FYI........I was taught to make bows this way years ago with one slight change. When zushing or fluffing your bow, alternate sides. It makes a lovely rounded bow.
Carolina Beth (2 months ago)
You could use a thin zip tie instead of floral wire and the zip tie would allow you to freely tug to position your loops. Thanks for the “bow maker” idea.

"Tszujing" my new fave word 🤗...and I have the "bowdabra" and love it...the wire that comes with it is much easier to pull tight than basic paddle wire...its got little grips on it so as u pull it tight it stays ...now I'm off to tszuj some bows 😉

Tacky!

The bow is not full enough. It needs a contrasting second ribbon to go with it to make it fuller.

OMG florists don't need ribbons!! We held them with our fingers and made expert bows all the time. We'd waste time with little dinkin' things like that. It's more important to know how to hold the ribbon in your hand and how to position everything in it while you are curling things around. Don't waste your time on that stupid thing, your not teaching how to do things PROFESSIONALLY.

I am so so glad for YouTube Autoplay...it brought your video to me at a time I so desperately needed help with DIY projects that didn't look cheap and tacky. Everything you have presented so far is so stunning, elegant, and on point! Thank you for sharing your time and talent with us!

I used to be an Event Coordinator at Michaels Arts and Crafts store. I taught many many people how to make professional looking bows with the EZ Bowmaker tool!!! Just like you demonstrated here in your video. I recommend what you have said and know that this is the easy and most beautiful way to make bows!

Thank you for the demo, Lisa. I was taught free-hand, but that was for smaller bows. This big one you just did would be so hard to hold together until wired off. Now I will get one of these and go bow-crazy!

Wow!  Beautiful bow!  And who knew we could do it ourselves?!?  Also love your beautifully decorated home and wardrobe.  You slightly resemble the evil queen on "Once Upon A Time" (but seem much nicer).  Maybe that's where the magic comes from :)
GORDON BLACK (2 years ago)
Lisa Robertson, beautiful bow and garland on your fireplace mantel. Really miss you on QVC. You are such a beautiful woman, sorry you had to leave under those circumstances, but totally understand. Have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and a FANTABULOUS NEW YEAR.

Lisa, I just discovered your channel and am loving all your videos. Looking forward to trying some of your ideas this season. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge in a way we can understand and accomplish ourselves.
That has to be the most difficult way of making a "bow" that I have ever seen and it's a hot mess. You certainly do not need any equipment other than your hands. Ridiculous!

Nancy Boline (2 years ago)
This is way harder and much sloppier than ProBow The Hand. It's not hard to use at all. Or you should learn to make them by hand by Dallas Design Supply and Nancy Alexander. Great bow makers
Aldarion (2 years ago)
Gosh...I just love this womam, warmhearted, kind and extremely beautiful. Thanks Lisa! 😊
Nita -V (2 years ago)
hooo wow thanks for the tutorial... now let's talk about that jacket. ..i love it... is so gorgeous...
Andrew Turner (3 years ago)
Just a tip if you double the wire and fold it in half and put it as you had it you can take both end of the wire and take the one side of the two open ends and put them through the bent side and pull them through tight. I believe that it is an easier way of twisting the wire and making the bow tighter and more secure. Hope this tip helps.

I made my own bow maker out of scrap wood I found in my hubbys work shop years ago ..plus I used dowels for the center..I also put ruler marking on it. It cost about $1 to make...I love your videos Lisa..Merry Christmas and Happy New Year !!
KimberlyT (3 years ago)
I just hold the bow while making it. No need for a bow maker.
Madams.59 (3 years ago)
Your bow is lovely. Loving the holiday vids! I have this bow maker Lisa, I bought it years and years ago, but find that I can do it easier and faster just holding it in my hand and just doing using the same look twist method and holding the bow in my hand with my thumb and using my middle finger to hold the bottom as I twist. It sounds complicated, but it's easy and so much faster for me.
