The poor rats. They are extremely intelligent and social, they don´t carry diseases (a myth, which comes from the time of the plague). The plague was transmitted by human lice, proven now by new research. The only animal which carries dangerous diseases is the housecat (only carrier of toxoplasma gondii, a brain parasite). 50% of the population are already infected. This fact can not be denied and you can look it up.

At least they rescued them. I liked the little dumbo that stuck it's face through the bars in the carrier. I also like how they were just chillin by the windows, lookin out, sniffin. Sucks the owner wasn't responsible enough when breeding. Gotta separate the litter when they become sexually mature or shitty things will happen.

The american people are so sweet animallovers ,so funny how he ask " who adopt one of the poor rats "😅💚🐉💚

The rats are trapped at this house ,is very cruel & here one stupid human is guilty for that disaster ,not the rats

OooWeee man! Lol

They're obviously just fancy rats (from the store) that the owner bred with others. Rats can have a lot of pups in no time.

All Rats are germ and diseases spreaders. RATS' ARE VERY DESTRUCTIVE TOO. 🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀😷😷😷😷😷💩💩💩💩💩💩
kitten Gaming (4 months ago)
Keep ur opinion to urself alot ofvpeople like rats
The FemAlien (4 months ago)
Lol, do you know how people are in this regard? We spread germs, viruses, bacteria everywhere we go. Even the destructive ones like MRSA. We may not know we are carriers and if you have it and I touch a doorknob after you, I could catch it too. And my immune system has a bit of a weird flaw so I could be in trouble. Btw, do you know how many people don't wash their hands after a bathroom visit? Even after a nice poop? And even if that poop is nothing more than water with a color? And do you know how many of those people actually work either in the food industry or nursing homes/hospitals? In a restaurant kitchen, do you think that all food, especially meat, is thrown away if it falls on the floor? Can you see what people put in your food? What about touching raw chicken, you think everyone nearly washes their hands or even use another knife and plate for cutting food? Well? How many people who have the flu still go to their work, being a nice source to get sick from? You have airco at your job? Is it cleaned at all and often enough? You do know you breathe in possible harmful particles, right? Ever got bitten by a mosquito? I'm sure you have. Do you realize they too are disease spreaders? Have you ever had a fly on your food you waved off? Chances are that you continue to eat your meal. Have a nice one, knowing these flies are generally sitting on faeces as well, which they now have transferred to your meal and you actually best traces of faeces? Or amounts of toxins that ofcourse shouldn't be there in eggs? Milk with added vitamin D, only accidentally so much more over the safe limit that it got people into the hospital? Another angle of danger. Do you drive much? If so, or not for all I care, watch the dashcam videos and remember there are lots of them from the USA, before you say they all happen in Russia. Ain't it fun to see how well humans drive and how difficult it is to get into an accident or road rage situation with different methods? Brake checks especially are fun, or meeting an aggressive driver at the traffic light when you did little to nothing wrong or just made a simple and honest mistake or miscalculation? [/sarcasm] Another risk area Ever heard of Vioxx? A safer painkiller than ibuprofen or other NSAIDs, according to the studies and the FDA. I think victims of the drug will love to let you know how safe it was, same with thalidomide. (If you don't know, search it and especially for thalidomide babies) Or errors in fentanyl patches that made the dosage not come out slowly over 3 days but almost all at once that killed people. Production error. The last new antidepressant was supposedly safe and derived from melatonin, so it would also help with sleep. Wonderful, right? Well... No. When it started being used it turned out to be high-risk of liverfailure. No new patients were allowed anymore but current users should be closely monitored.(Valdoxan is the brand-name in my country, the medication name itself is agomelatine) Watch a documentary on the effects still of Agent Orange in Vietnam where the manufacturer allegedly didn't know how devastating their product really was, as it supposedly was used to de-leaf the forest so vietnamsoldiers had no hiding place anymore. It did way more than that. Should I continue or are you now ready to accept that we live in unsafe environments at times instead of keeping focussed on domesticated rats which, well kept, don't do harm? Yes I wrote an essay. You started about diseases and germs in rats. But just to give you perspective on what you are encountering every day and don't even think about it. So maybe you should let go of your small obsession here and let people adopt two rats if they want to and give them the rest of their life a home that cares for them. You don't have to adopt any so let it go. You, you have other dangers to worry about when it comes to germs or more specific issues with medication or production failures in factory handled foods and drinks.

It really upsets me that rats are so misunderstood and widely hated. It's true that wild rats are pests, but rats responsibly bred to be pets aren't hurting anyone. Rats make amazing pets, and it surprises me that they aren't as popular as cats or dogs, or even fish. I have had 4 pet rats myself. They are as friendly and intelligent as dogs. They act sort of like a cross between a cat and a dog in my experience. They easily learn tricks and can be taught to come when called. They are very entertaining to watch, and very sweet. They enjoy being petted and played with (and given treats to), and even make a purring sound by chattering their teeth when they're happy or relaxed.
Fuck that I wouldn't want to live next to my mans
beethoven's trance (4 months ago)
i love rats too but i hate it when people compare them to dogs. dogs are truly special in this world and nothing compares to them. you can get people to understand them without your comparing and contrasting. dogs and cats have no real connection to rodents so please stop.
The FemAlien (4 months ago)
+Michael Rodriguez I have had 3 cats and now I have my 4th. Cats carry a parasite in their bowels and hence in their faeces, especially young ones, that can make a person (very) ill. If you are a responsible owner though, thee is hardly anything to fear. Or does this mean we should kill all cats too? 🐈 🐾
The FemAlien (4 months ago)
I think some just don't want to understand, judging by the two other posts. Too bad. You gave a good response about them, but some just hate them and always will.
Michael Rodriguez (9 months ago)
mudkipclove They get loose' and breed with wild rats! Also, All rats carry bad germs. Pet rats or designer rats have killed too. With bad diseases. 😣😣😤😤🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀😷😷😷😷😷

I would adopt. My pet snake would be rather pleased with me.
+Lumia https://youtu.be/X9QfELJX66w yeh, that rat did very well defending itself
Lumia (20 days ago)
+Vergil the legendary dark slayer one bite and the poor snake is dead with out poison rats have really strong bites they don't need poison noob
+Lumia I'd bid them good luck hunting a brown snake..., one bite and the rat dies in 10 seconds from the venom
My dog will have so much fun hunting them
The FemAlien (4 months ago)
Is that supposed to be funny?
Marilyn Marie (1 year ago)
Adoption? I laughed so hard when I heard that😂😂
The FemAlien (4 months ago)
Why? That's simply what it's called with any animal. Dogs, cats etc. I have written "I always adopt my cats from a shelter" so often, it is a very normal term for me and we say the same in my language 🙂 Even with rats I don't think it's a weird expression. I don't mean to be rude to you btw, just my "world" in which it's become such a normal term that I wouldn't think anymore that someone else would find it a funny term 🙂
yvonneost12 (1 year ago)
Yep 300 people needed to adopt 300 rats . right good luck with that ( gas them ) simple !!!! feed them to snakes , let them go in florida LOL to attract the pythons / then catch them and get rid of them too , 2 birds with one stone LOL
The FemAlien (4 months ago)
Another fearbased reaction. Cats and dogs are so cute and fluffy, but name rat instead of cat and the killers in some of us come loose
CNT-Genesis (1 year ago)
yvonneost12, more of 150 people need to adopt 300 rats. Rats are very social creatures and need to be kept in pairs or more. Also these rats are DOMESTICATED. Letting one free in the wild is like letting a poodle into the wild. They would not have the skills to survive.
Vick Vick (1 year ago)
Some neighbors just need they ass beat.Look if you want to breed go breed where others are not affected by it.They should be charged with something

ADOPT a fuggin rat? Are you pulling my leg?

Poisened the sick woman that is fault for that
The FemAlien (4 months ago)
+La Original They are pet rats, not just any rat that comes from the streets invading a home. Absolutely no need to kill them. I think you're listening to fear a little too much.
La Original (5 months ago)
Amen. Kill them all.
