I have a doubt bro. Why we are getting the output as pl/sql procedure completed successfully, where instead we didn't create any procedures. So we must have got anonymous block completed. Why we get procedure completed successfully?

why you have used 'Has Salary' in second example.could you please explain this?
keshav kesh (11 months ago)
Abhishek kumar this is a constant that completes the sentence when we run Output. For e.g. Writing this, we get Manish has salary 10,000 else it would be Manish 10,000

I watched other pl/sql tutorial and in that video we have to use 'to_char' when we want to combine char and string type data for the output. But it's working here without using 'to_char'... I am confused

Manish what are the tables you use to the exemples?
Manish Sharma (2 years ago)
Most of the time I use tables from HR schema. Which is the sample schema, comes pre-install with the software. I have done a series of tutorial on how to connect with DB with schemas like SYS and HR. You can find them on my channel. p.s. Initially, these sample schemas are locked. In order to use them, you have to unlock them. Which you can do either while installing the software or after the installation (when needed). For unlocking sample schema watch or read oracle 11g installation till the end or watch the tutorial on "How To Unlock User/ Schema " on my channel. Here are all the links. Links: How To Connect : http://bit.ly/how-to-create-new-connection-in-sql-developer How To Install 11g on Win10: https://youtu.be/d_CyuCLC3Ls How To Unlock User/Schema using SQL Developer: https://youtu.be/xRBfeTO1Pc8 How To Unlock User/Schema using ALTER USER: https://youtu.be/sMqq9MSVmQo If you enjoy watching.
