I appreciate your love for the Harlem Renaissance but some of your facts are a bit misleading and i thought you might like to know! The thumbnail photo is from the 1960s, those are black celebrities from Broadway and Las Vegas dressed in 1920s costumes , the Harlem Renaissance took place in the 1920s not the 1960s; yes a white gangster did run the Cotton Club in Harlem but black people were not allowed in as patrons. Blacks were only allowed in as poorly paid performers in an all black club in an all black neighborhood! Lena Horne, Sydney Portier, Harry Belafonte, The incomparable Duke Ellington, etc...are in that photo
