this method worked great for me! My yarn was black and gray, so I wasn't able to see my stitches all that well (no fault to this video) but I ended up with a scarf!!! I like this method so much better. I used to knit with needles, but I got frustrated when I'd work for hours and have four inches of scarf done. thank you!!!!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH! Once you get the hang of it, you breeze right through it and start to get better and you were very easy to hear and understand. This is great for those without knitting needles like myself.

I found this video very easy to follow. I had never knit before watching this and I think I had some pretty great results. I have the photos and info about the yarn used here if anybody is interested: https://www.buybrittique.com/crochet-gallery

Brilliant! Especially the 'out-takes' and I love your dog! Love Great Danes. Off to make me a scarf now! Clearest video I've seen so far from a tutorial perspective. Funniest from a 'keeping it real' perspective!

I'm having trouble getting past the first row. I keep ending up with so much extra yarn by the time I'm ready to add the last stitch. I guess, as I'm tightening each stitch, I'm sliding the wrong section closer to my left arm. I'm picking up everything, including the loop in the middle. This project definitely requires a lot of patience, because there's a lot of starting over when trying this for the first time. As frustrating as this is I'm determined to get this. I just keep picturing that beautiful scarf when I finally finish! :)
sonyakheranorth (1 year ago)
Did you end up using the whole yarn ball?

This is probably the most unclear tutorial. Over this, under that then around this one. Like WHAT HOW ABOUT YOU MOVE YOUR CAMERA CLOSER SO WE CAN ACTUALLY SEE WHAT YOU DOING. Just a thought.
