Hi Denise, My looming things had all been put away in a big plastic bag until I saw one of your videos last week. Now, I've not only brought everything back out again, but have made 4 hats, and a couple of scarves! Thank you for helping me get my looming juices flowing again!

As usual only compliments for your work, but I have question. Is it possible to make sweater with these stitches, did you make one and if you did, do you have video? I want to make sweater but confused how to do it.
Leslie Marshall (4 months ago)
Hi there, First off I saw you had a pink scarf with this video but now it’s gone. I I just finished a scarf using this pattern an now I have 4 more to make for orders. When I attempted to join the beginning with the end. My only problem was I had used 18 pegs but there were only 16 holes I could find at the bottom. So I took the 1st peg an put the loop on peg 2 an same for peg 18 I put on peg 17. Then I was able to sew the scarf an I was finished.
Allison Gilbert (4 months ago)
I love this stitch! I have made one scarf already and am working on a second now. I'm wondering if I were to use this stitch for a blanket, does the peg count just need to be a multiple of 3? Also would you do some type of border?
Pam Welsh (4 months ago)
Can this stitch be done on a infinity loom?
LoomaHat.com (4 months ago)
Yes - on ANY loom
Michelle Mower (4 months ago)
Just started looming, will be watching a lot of videos.
LoomaHat.com (4 months ago)
AWESOME !!!!
Tina Wallace (4 months ago)
Thank you so much for this video. I'm working on this at the moment. It works up fairly fast too.
Tracyann Cooper (5 months ago)
This would probably work for a blanket as well.
LoomaHat.com (5 months ago)
Yes - big time - that's my plan for my next blanket :)
Ann Balfour (6 months ago)
I made a friend of mine this scarf for XMas last year and she loved it. Since that time, I have made 2 more for my godchildren and now have an open loom and starting ANOTHER one tonight for a teacher who I dearly love and just retired. I don't know if it is the stitch, or the yarn and the combination of both that people find so fascinating. BUT, you are correct, Denise, it is very easy once you get the pattern down. I can knit during TV time or listen to my radio shows. Where ever you found this pattern, it is a GEM and I hope many, many people will make this scarf. So easy and very pretty. I did use a #4 weight yarn, not doubled, just a single strand. I think I want to try and chunky one for my other God Daughter, she runs cold natured and think it will turn out fine for her. I will make it a bit shorter as she is very short. THANK YOU again for sharing this pattern.....sure is a keeper, as you are, my friend! Keep FL warm for us, lol, will be there in late September for a family reunion in the Port St. Lucie area. Also, I need to get over to the Tampa/St. Pete area to see a childhood friend of mine who just retired and moved to FL 6 months ago. Hugs, Denise, THANKS AGAIN! Annie
LoomaHat.com (5 months ago)
Ann I'm soooo happy you liked it. I truly love this project. By the way, I tried this as a chunky scarf with a thicker yarn - I recommend you double knit the last peg - don't slip the first stitch. I'm hoping I can get back to it this winter ... stay tuned - you'll know if I did

Colleen Greenwood (8 months ago)
I love your videos!! If I was to purl the second peg each time instead of e-wrapping it, would it still curl?
LoomaHat.com (8 months ago)
Not as much.
Jon Campos (8 months ago)
Something tells me that there is a ministry in your church that you are very dedicated to. Js.
Jon Campos (8 months ago)
So this way of stitching rows will not cause the work to curl?
Carrie Sullivan (8 months ago)
How would I incorporate this stitch into the fingerless gloves project. I’ve made a scarf and hat with the stitch but am trying to make a pair of the fingerless gloves?
LoomaHat.com (8 months ago)
Carrie - I would NOT recommend this stitch for gloves - but if you really want to - you can watch the video for the fingerless glove and replace the basic knit stitch for the mock - but you will have to test this because the size of the stitches is different. The mock is much larger.
ELLYHAYES1 (9 months ago)
I am making a shrug with your stitch. Do you have instructions on how to cast off with this stitch?
Gail Gebhardt (10 months ago)
I really like your pattern and the yarn what kind of yarn is it GG
LoomaHat.com (10 months ago)
Hi Gail - it's Simply soft - can't recall the color but it should be in the description on in the website post. It is a great color that works for all seasons.
Lacy Schultz (10 months ago)
Would this work with a bulky (5) yarn?
Lacy Schultz (10 months ago)

Would this stitch work using the entire loom with an odd number of pegs?
LoomaHat.com (10 months ago)
Yes and it should look beautiful😊
Evelyn Cornwell (10 months ago)
It is so beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Evelyn Cornwell (10 months ago)
So I am trying to make this scarf, it doesn't look quite like this. Maybe my tension. I am not disappointed though because I thought of something. A dish cloth, could be made. I know it would need a garter stitch border. But I am confused on start of every row after the border and the end before the border. Is that last part on your scarf pattern skipped to just to have a smooth edge? I hope it is doable, because I love the feeling of this. I can picture myself scrubbing my dishes with this as a dish cloth.😂😂😂😂 Thank you.
Evelyn Cornwell (10 months ago)

Jon Campos (1 year ago)
The model is very pretty
Tina Buckner (1 year ago)
Hello Denise. Love 💗 love your tutorials.👌👌👌 Do you have a tutorial on how to make a scarf 🧣 and then add a Pom Pom on it?? I’ve seen the end of the scarf is looks like a triangle end. Then the Pom Pom is put on. But how to make the end of the scarf 🧣 small enough to put Pom Pom on?? Most scarves ends are square.
Claudia Lozano (1 year ago)
Just finished mine! I loved the pattern!
LoomaHat.com (1 year ago)
Thanks for the Thanks Claudia! Happy you liked it.
Lisa Mcmahon (1 year ago)
Can I use 30 or 36 pegs to make a bigger scarf?
Nancy Hollo (1 year ago)
The number of pegs is for the width so you can use more pegs and have more of a foldy cowl for cold weather that you could pull up around your ears or over your head. The length comes as you work, you'll see, and where you stop depends on how far down the loop hangs on you. The more rows you do the longer it gets like hers in the picture.
Wanda (1 year ago)
Fantastica!!! La realizzerò al piu presto!!! Grazie!!
Kayla Marie (1 year ago)
This is absolutely just mind-blowing how easy you made this. I can't wait to start! I just started looming this month and have already made two hats and a small cowl (maybe not as functional as your cowl video) but will be giving that a look as well! Thanks for taking the time to make this so easy for all of us :) keep it up! <3 xoxoxo

Thank you for the wonderful easy to follow instructions! I've just started loom knitting (because of you) about a week ago and I've already made 3 beanies and now I'm trying this infinite scarf. Thank you for my latest addition

Another excellent video - I followed along with you and, wonder of all wonders, shock of all shocks, thanks to your slow and careful instructions, I can do it! Great gift to give - these will go to the alternative school where my daughter is a counselor. These kids have nothing so a pretty little something will brighten their day. Thank you so much for this pattern that will be easy for me on to do so I can make a lot of them.
Diane O'Conner (1 year ago)
Denise - thank you so much for this video. I'm going to make one for each of my sisters for Christmas and you have made it so easy for me. You have taught me essentially everything I know and I have made 41 hats for the Cancer Center and for Children's Hospital and will continue making for them while I make family gifts. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

thanks for the share, any advice on how to do a cable edged infinity scarf with a round loom, or something close to that effect?
LoomaHat.com (1 year ago)
Hi thanks for the question - I'm sure it can be done - I haven't and unfortunately can't refer to someone who has
Penny Featherston (1 year ago)
your tutorial on this project is awesome. Thank you so much. I love the yarn you used. Do you remember the name of it. My daughter would love a scarf and hat with that yarn. It turned out beautiful. Can't wait to look you up and find more ideas. You make it look so easy. LOL.

Sorry for the delay Mary - I actually recommended this exact video on your other question. I've been out of town and just started answering comments - so now you know why I might seem crazy :) ... Let me know how your grands scarves turn out. - consider this pattern - much quicker then the diamond lace and I think just as nice - my 16 yo daughter likes it better
Courtney (1 year ago)
I am LOVING this project. I am trying to avoid blocking and have been doing a true knit on the last loop then bringing it in front on the second peg to overcast and start the sequence again. It seems to be holding the edge more flat. You mentioned in the scarf that the purl stitch would keep it from curling. Is it possible to amend patterns to avoid blocking? Your teaching is the best I have found and I keep coming back to your site. I bought your 10 stitches and love that too on my kindle.
LoomaHat.com (1 year ago)
Yes - fabric curls when you just use one type of stitch - like a eWrap best to add at least 1 purl line or row of purl.
Margaret Kahlmeier (1 year ago)
Denise you have blessed me!

I am very new to loom knitting. Your tutorials are so easy to follow and you make knitting fun. Thank you so much!!

Nancy Taylor (1 year ago)
I love this and have shared it with the knifty knitter group...would you mind if we use it as a challenge project one month...soon???!! I wonder how it would do with cotton yarn...hmmm....
LoomaHat.com (1 year ago)
Hi Nancy - Please do - love for you share the video. Let me know if you need a feature picture and I will email it to you. As for the cotton yarn - this would work GREAT !
jlee (1 year ago)
Another great video and project. :) I have a question....on the cast off what is the difference when doing it the way you did from top to bottom and from bottom to top, instead of doing each peg the same? Does doing each peg the same not work or looks bad? Thanks for sharing :)
LoomaHat.com (1 year ago)
When you say each peg I assume you mean like a hat - if so that is a gathered method used to bring all the loops together. You want to cast off flat and loose for this project
Margaret Kahlmeier (1 year ago)
Hi Denise. Thank you for your quick reply. I have recently order two of their larger looms. I thought your loom looked familiar! Lol. I plan to knit baby blankets to donate to the local woman's shelter in my city, I too have been where they are now and I want to help.

Hi Denise, what loom are you using? It looks so easy to use. Love how detailed your instructions are! Did subscribe to your Chanel and I really enjoy all your projects. Am new to loom knitting and I just love it!
LoomaHat.com (1 year ago)
Hi Margaret - I'm using a Cindwood loom but ANY 24-peg loom will work : http://amzn.to/2nC1Dai
Paulette Patenaude (1 year ago)
I'm always amazed by your videos. Instructions are so clear; very well explained and repeated. We can see well what you're doing and the lighting is great. Needless to say I've looked at other people's videos and they work with a dark yarn on a dark loom with bad lighting. It's so bad! But you're a great teacher and I keep going back to your videos. Thank you for all that you do for the loom knitting enthusiasts out there!

You are so right when you say " watch the entire video BEFORE starting" I learned that the hard way many many months ago 😋Very nice work Denise.
LoomaHat.com (1 year ago)
Oh my friend - it's advice from personal experience. Lost a lot of time and pretty yarn many moons ago ....
Gail Pharoah (1 year ago)
This is great, Denise! Thanks so much. How do you think this would work for a prayer shawl (not attaching the two ends of course and making it wider)? I thought it would be a pretty stitch, would work up fairly quickly, as I am in a group that makes prayer shawls for the bereaved. Would it work in any multiple of 4? Thank you, as always. Gail in Canada.
LoomaHat.com (1 year ago)
Hi Gail - Yes it would work VERY well. If you do this PLEASE send me a picture.

Janet Fenstermacher (1 year ago)
Great project, what is steam block? I hear block a lot, but have not learned what that is yet.
Janet Fenstermacher (1 year ago)
that was very helpful, thank you.
LoomaHat.com (1 year ago)
Check out this helpful video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWyOk1a8fyY
Anne Onimous (1 year ago)
Steam blocking means: you pin your finished knitting down flat onto a suitable surface, and then you hover a steam iron over the finished knitting (without making the iron touch the knitting at any time) and then leave it to dry still pinned in place. This will help to make the knitting flat at the edges rather than curly.
abigale langcayas (1 year ago)
this time i see your video started on cast on. will do this for my next project.thank you for sharing
LoomaHat.com (1 year ago)
Hi Abigale - this is not a stitch pattern - it's a full project - that's the difference. With stitch patterns you don't get the start or the finish: http://www.loomahat.com/start-my-stitch-patterns/

+diane coop Depends on the size of the Afghan - I recommend a little swatch of the project
diane coop (1 year ago)
ok now the next question is if I wanted to use this stitch for adult sized afghan how many stitches would i need to cast on and i know that how many rows would be dependent upon how long i want. I love this stitch and the figure 8!

Peggy F (1 year ago)
Hi Denise, love this scarf. I noticed that you use a 5/8" loom. Could I use a 1/2" instead and if so would I need to make any adjustments? I love the Cindiwood looms so it wouldn't be a hardship if I HAD to buy another one.
LoomaHat.com (1 year ago)
Hi Peggy - yep you can but you will need to add more pegs - I did 18 - you should do at least 24 if not 28
Vaun Dinger (1 year ago)

lol i just ran around looking for an empty loom to make one!!! is it bad i have 3 24 peg looms and need more!!!!! lol ...its not my fault one is for scrubbies and towel toppers, one is for slippers , and the Boye loom, which i dislike is for other projects..so i need another one...so simple to justify
