It has my initial within it , which shows not only the alphabet "S", but a "Curve" of design, side face of my idol "Ganesha" and a side cut curve that shows its a "girl" that's ME ;) Colours that I choose signifies my background i.e. my religion , I being a maharastrian hindu where these colours are prominently used. And also the colours Red, Orange & Yellow have their own significant importance. Plus at the end, those are vibrant catchy colours that I love :)

Your logo and visual identity are the heart of your branding and marketing strategy. It’s so well recognized because McDonald’s uses their logo everywhere. On its stores; on its packaging; and as a beacon in the night to hungry travelers. Now most businesses don’t need nearly that level of recognition to be successful, but I do think that most businesses could be using their logos a little more efficiently. So here are 5 ways your logo could be more effective. Number one, it’s got to be good, and it’s got to be timeless. Remember, your logo is the visual representative of your brand. If people see cliche clip art, they will assume your business is a dime a dozen, and that your products and services come cheap. If they see something slapped together as an afterthought, they’ll assume your work is of the same calibre. Take the time to identify what you want your brand image to be - what you want people to think of when they think of you. Then draw that. Because that’s your logo. And if you can’t do that yourself, hire someone who can. Number two, it always has to be the same, regardless of how or where you’re using it. The same colors, same text and fonts, same layout, same dimensions. Chances are you are not FedEx. You do not need different versions of your logo for different aspects of your company. Consistency in your presentation creates familiarity with your brand. Familiarity, over time, creates trust. Number three, put it on everything. Your logo should be on your business cards, stationery, invoices and internal paperwork, web site, videos, email and print marketing materials, your packaging, boxes you ship out - and when applicable, on your uniforms, vehicles, or building. Any place that you think is appropriate, and interacts with your audience, should have your logo. Number four, think of your logo as the emphasis and punctuation to your brand message, not the message itself. Your logo doesn’t need to take up three quarters of your home page or brochure cover to be effective. Make it as big as necessary to be recognized and remembered, but no bigger. Your branding message, or what you say in your marketing, is about your audience - it’s not about you. People look at your web site to find a solution to their problem, not to learn how awesome you are. And number five, you have to back it up. Having the greatest brand image and logo in the world is meaningless if you can’t back up what they claim. If your brand image is telling people that you’re the best widget maker, or best solution provider, then you’d better be able to back that up in real life. Otherwise, your logo will quickly become a symbol of irony, rather than a symbol of excellence. There you go. Case Presentation at the Audio Branding Congress 2011 Abstract from B Sound Thinking + Domíniu + Zooma: Airela is the newest Brazilian pharmaceutical manufacturer. The aim of this audio branding project was to develop Airela's sound identity and materials to be used in the brand communication. In order to study Airela's essence and to transpose it to sound and voice attributes, an ontological approach was applied to the brand. The process was aimed at understanding the brand coherence trough three domains: language, physicality and emotionality. The analysis was the starting point to define motherhood as the main brand attribute, and to design its foundations: life, wellbeing, tenderness, joy, generosity and confidence. After defining these foundational attributes, each of them was correlated to sound and voice parameters, defining Airela's voice and sound logo. These attributes generated an audio map, guiding the choice of voice characteristics (pitch, loudness, resonance, vocal attack, articulation, intonation, fluency, Pneumo-phono-articulatory coordination) and musical characteristics (time, pitch, timbre, texture, dynamics and articulation). Together, these characteristics for sound and voice helped guiding the development of musical insights. A workshop with music producers and audio branding advisors was carried out in studio, in order to evaluate these insights. Two sound insights to voice and two sound logos were developed to be used in television and other brand touch points. An experimental research was developed to evaluate the voices and sound logos efficacy to produce associations with life, well-being, tenderness, joy, generosity and confidence. 92 people were divided into two groups. Each group listened to one voice and one sound logo, answering objective questions about them. The results indicated the best choices in voice and sound logo to produce the intended brand associations. A sound identity manual was developed, containing all the essential information about the process and sound usage guidelines.

TNT has teamed up with International brand design agency, Design Bridge, to redesign their brand identity. Design Bridge’s challenge was two-fold, firstly to define a new strapline that would convey TNT’s new strategy & culture, and secondly to design a new logo and brand world which would reflect TNT’s vision. Design Bridge created TNT’s new strapline ‘The People Network’, that reinforces the company’s aim to connect people and businesses in a truly personal, rather than purely professional manner. The fundamental truth is that it’s the amazing people; customers and employees alike, who are at the very heart of global trade on a daily basis. This new line will work to galvanize the ‘challenger’ spirit of those working internally at TNT, and will also resonate powerfully with TNT’s customers around the world. Over the last 70 years, TNT built the most extensive European road and air network for parcels and freight and scores high on customer friendliness. Tex Gunning, CEO of TNT: “We have a clear strategy to focus on our greatest strengths: our people, their human approach to serving customers, and our unique network. Customers are not barcodes and we are not robots. We all relate to what drives our customers: business growth with a personal touch. Taking time to understand what customers really need distinguishes us from others. We are The People Network.” Design Bridge refined TNT’s brand mark, crafting the logo to give it a fresher, confident and more contemporary look. It was essential to find truth and relevance in the key brand equities – colour, shape and form – to move the brand forward. Used throughout our visual language, the TNT circle has been introduced and is shown in perpetual motion moving through the world. Using the circle we reflect how we keep people at the heart of our business. Easily recognizable as part of the TNT brand, it links and identifies all touch-points as important components in the global brand that is ‘The People Network’. Launching on the 29th September, the new design language will be seen incorporated across a multitude of touch-points throughout TNT’s global network, ranging from; vehicle livery, ATL communications, staff uniforms through to packaging around the world. Piers Bebbington, Client Services Director at Design Bridge: “This has been a fantastic challenge, it was not an exercise in reinventing the wheel, but rather about embracing the TNT’s challenger origins, uncovering the truth and relevance in the brand and bringing this to life for TNT’s customers to feel and experience”.

A logo is the graphic symbol that represents a person, company or organization. If the logo is well-known enough, such as the Nike swoosh, you may even see a logo used without the name of the business that it is associated with. Normally, most marks have a typographic part that more clearly spells out the name of the organization. What is a wordmark or logotype? A logo can also be purely typographic. It is called a logotype or wordmark when only the letters of the name make up to the logo. A great example is Coca-Cola’s red scripty type. Some people also refer to the logomark as the word portion of a logo that also has a symbol. Sometimes the graphic symbol and typographic word mark are very separate (see the logo for Retail Association of Maine). With other logo designs, there is not a clear separation of logo symbol from typography,. What is a brand identity? Once a logo has been designed it gets applied to many different applications. These can be as simple as the logo placed in the top center of a piece of paper and calling it letterhead. If all you do is essentially rubber-stamp your logo onto different things, you really have not developed a full brand identity. That is a brief overview of the elements that can be put together to make your brand’s identity more robust than just a logo. When a brand identity really works, you should be able to recognize the brand even if you don’t see the logo. For example, Netflix’s red envelope is a simple yet powerful example of a brand identity. Many people have heard about the importance of using their logo consistently. But there should be a consistency to elements beyond your logo. The tricky thing is that while your logo is unfailingly unchangeable, your brand identity must have both consistency and flexibility. Creating a brand identity that is distinct yet varies based on it’s form, is a challenge but can big dividends in your brand’s value. The elements that can be part of a full brand identity could be fonts, colors, imagery, and even the voice of the writing. What is a brand? What is included under the term brand is much harder to define. It certainly encompasses the logo and the full visual position created by a strong brand identity. But it also includes many other areas that are not part of the strict design side of a business. These may include your content, messaging and story telling. Customer service and the client experience also a part of a brand. The idea of a reputation is a critical part of defining the word brand. Some people summarize this into the very abstract idea of a promise. You will also hear some people use the word brand almost interchangeably with company or organization. It can be a way to talk about product or service; individual or organization; company or non-profit without getting caught up in listing all those particulars. I like to think of a brand as a combination of how you define and promote yourself and how others define and view you. You never have complete control over your brand because it is not wholly generated internally.
