The idea was that of Crisette Ellis, an independent national sales director for a cosmetic company. She said she was inspired after seeing police line up in their cars for fallen officers.'My husband said, 'Wouldn't it be awesome if we could have a sea of pink Cadillacs parked on Seven Mile Road to greet Ms.Aretha Franklin as she arrives?'' Ellis, who owns a luxurious pink Escalade, explained to NPR.Ellis began searching for others who might have had their own vehicle to spare for the sentimental procession.'They're coming from everywhere,' she added.'They are coming from as far as Texas; Omaha, Nebraska; Florida; North Carolina; Maryland.' The independent saleswoman shared that a few classic ones from the 1960s would be included in the motorcade.'Freeway of Love is like an anthem for us Detroiters,' he explained.'[It] starts off with a Motown beat, and that's the pulse of the city.' The song would grant Franklin her 12th Grammy Award, winning for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance. Its subsequent video features scenes of the Motor City, with the city's once booming motor industry prominently featured in it.After the funeral, Franklin will be entombed at Woodlawn Cemetery in Detroit, along with her father, Rev.C.L.Franklin; brother Cecil Franklin; sisters Carolyn Franklin and Erma Franklin; and nephew, Thomas Garrett.Woodlawn also is the final resting place for Parks and many of the Motor City's musical elite, including members of the Four Tops.Franklin passed away August 16 at 9.50am surrounded by family and friends at her home in Detroit following a battle with advanced pancreatic cancer.'In one of the darkest moments of our lives, we are not able to find the appropriate words to express the pain in our heart. We have lost the matriarch and rock of our family,' a statement from her family read.'We have been deeply touched by the incredible outpouring of love and support we have received from close friends, supporters and fans all around the world.Thank you for your compassion and prayers.'We have felt your love for Aretha and it brings us comfort to know that her legacy will live on.As we grieve, we ask that you respect our privacy during this difficult time.' Several umpires, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told the Times that they were considering boycotting future Williams matches.Though the umpires have no union to organize such a boycott, that may change.'There is a lot of unhappiness in the umpiring community because no one is standing up for officials,' one senior umpire told the Guardian.'Umpires keep asking: 'What if it was me in that chair on Saturday?' There is a widespread feeling that Carlos was hung out to dry for nearly 48 hours and that no one is standing up for officials,' the official said.Several umpires are privately pushing for an officials’ union, the newspaper reported. One source familiar with the discussions, said: 'Umpires don’t have any independent means of representation and are employed by the governing bodies. If talking to the media is not allowed, and governing bodies are speaking out against them, what are umpires supposed to do?' Umpires are forbidden by contract from speaking out to the press, but one retired ump was able to voice the views of his brethren.'The umpiring fraternity is thoroughly disturbed at being abandoned by the WTA,' Richard Ings, a retired, elite Gold Badge umpire told ESPN.com.'They are all fearful that they could be the next Ramos. They feel that no one has their back when they have to make unpopular calls.' Ramos, who is Portuguese, broke his silence on Tuesday in a brief interview with Portuguese publication Tribuna Expresso. While unable to comment specifically on the Williams incident, he said: 'It's a delicate situation. But umpiring 'a la carte' is something that does not exist.Don't worry about me, I'll be fine'.

My channel: https://goo.gl/vCXdrM ABOUT: Mystery has surrounded the site of Jesus' 'first miracle' for centuries, but an answer may finally be at hand.According to the Gospel of John, Jesus changed water into wine during the Wedding at Cana. For hundreds of years, pilgrims have believed the site of the miracle to be Kafr Kanna, a town in northern Israel, where they visit the 20th-century 'Wedding Church'.But the true location has long been debated – and now archaeologists believe the Cana of biblical times may be a dusty hillside five miles further north. It's the former site of Khirbet Qana, a Jewish village between the years of 323 BC and AD 324, where archaeologists have discovered a number of compelling clues.Excavations there have revealed a network of tunnels used for Christian worship, marked with crosses and references to Kyrie Iesou, a Greek phrase meaning Lord Jesus. There was also an altar and a shelf with the remains of a stone vessel, plus room for five more.Six stone jars like this held the wine in the biblical account of the miracle.Dr Tom McCollough, who directs excavations at the site, said there were three other sites with a credible claim to being the Cana of scripture.'But none has the ensemble of evidence that makes such a persuasive case for Khirbet Qana,' he said.'We have uncovered a large Christian veneration cave complex that was used by Christian pilgrims who came to venerate the water-to-wine miracle.'This complex was used beginning in the late fifth or early sixth century and continued to be used by pilgrims into the 12th-century Crusader period.'The pilgrim texts we have from this period that describe what pilgrims did and saw when they came to Cana of Galilee match very closely what we have exposed as the veneration complex.' As part of his evidence, Dr McCollough points to the work of first-century Jewish historian Flavius Josephus.Water into wine: The first miracle of Jesus The transformation of water into wine at the Wedding of Cana is the first miracle attributed to Jesus in the Gospel of John.According to the Gospel account, Jesus, his mother and his disciples are invited to a wedding, and the wine runs out.Jesus ordered servants to fill containers with water and soon there was plenty of wine again.John adds that: 'Jesus did this, the first of his signs, in Cana of Galilee, and it revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him'.Christian tradition based on John 2:11 holds that this is the first public miracle of Jesus. The exact location of Cana has been subject to debate among scholars, with possible locations including the town of Kafr Kanna, in Galilee, about five miles northeast of Nazareth.Recent interest has focused on the ruined village of Khirbet Qana five miles further north while others have claimed it might be Ain Qana, in Southern Lebanon, which is closer to Nazareth. He said: 'His references to Cana align geographically with the location of Khirbet Qana

'Rather, I think the question we have to ask ourselves is this: What is the right way to behave to honor our sport and to respect our opponents?' She went on: 'This is the sort of behavior that no one should be engaging in on the court. There have been many times when I was playing that I wanted to break my racket into a thousand pieces.'Then I thought about the kids watching. And I grudgingly held on to that racket.' She also criticized Williams' for arguing with Ramos when he issued her a coaching warning because, though she was unaware of it at the time, her coach Patrick Mouratoglou was indeed coaching her from the stands.'The player is responsible for his or her coach’s conduct. And it is actually irrelevant whether the player saw or heard whatever instructions were given; either way, it is still an infraction,' Navratilova wrote. The athlete went on to say that while she understood Williams' frustration after having been subjected to 'awful' line-calling at past US Open finals, it was misguided of her to pin her argument with Ramos on whether or not a male player would have been let off leniently.'We cannot measure ourselves by what we think we should also be able to get away with.'It is also on individual players to conduct themselves with respect for the sport we love so dearly.'Because we all look so forward to the next time Ms.Williams and Ms.Osaka play each other; hopefully the drama will come from their magnificent shots and their fierce competitiveness — two athletes showing us how it is done, inspiring us all in the process,' she wrote. Her comments echo those of members of the tennis community who lined up to support Ramos' calls on Monday as debate over the controversial match intensified. The International Tennis Federation, which had vowed not to get involved, spoke out in support of the Portuguese umpire.'Carlos Ramos is one of the most experienced and respected umpires in tennis.Mr Ramos' decisions were in accordance with the relevant rules and were re-affirmed by the US Open's decision to fine 'Serena Williams for three offences. It is understandable that this high profile and regrettable incident should provoke debate.'At the same time, it is important to re

Watching Spurs at their new stadium won't be cheap, with the least-expensive season ticket price being £795 for adults and the most expensive requiring a vast investment to the sum of £1,995 - the costliest anywhere in the Premier League. As well as this, a retractable pitch will accommodate NFL fixtures as part of a 10-year agreement - the first of which will take place on October 14 when the Seattle Seahawks play the Oakland Raiders. Although the 62,000-capacity stadium is set to be ready for the start of the season, Levy has admitted that the club may have to play their first few games away from home. Share this article Share

He says Caleb's been home for about three weeks doing things an 11-year-old normally does, but that he tires easily.Caleb has loved auto racing since the age of two, when he started visiting his uncle at his home near the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa. The two would watch as drivers parked their cars on the street before the track opened and then would head to the stands to see the colorful cars race around the speedway.'He's my racing buddy. It was kind of our deal,' Playle said.'I probably had just as much fun as he did.' His passion for racing is what prompted the request for stickers.Playle said the stickers have been pouring in after social media appeals, helping to keep everyone's spirits up.Playle said the family is 'just trying to do as much as we can with him while he's here.' Caleb's got to experience racing first-hand on Saturday when he suited up in driving gear and sped around a dirt track in a stock car designed for children.A 12-year-old racer sat beside Caleb to help him learn to work the stick-shift and navigate the track.Caleb's father, John Hammond, told The Oskaloosa Herald that the entire family had been looking forward to the racing.'A goal of his was to be able to drive a race car when he got older,' Hammond said.

He alleged that the Pope was trying to find out if he was an ally of McCarrick or not.Vigano told the outlet that Pope Francis 'continued to cover' for McCarrick and 'not take into account the sanctions that Pope Benedict had imposed on him'.Vigano said in 2009 or 2010, Pope Benedict implemented sanctions that stated McCarrick 'was to leave the seminary where he was living. He was also forbidden to celebrate (Mass) in public, to participate in public meetings, to give lecturers, to travel, with the obligation of dedicating himself to a life of prayer and penance'.He said instead of taking action, Pope Francis revoked the sanctions and made McCarrick his 'trusted counselor'.Vigano said he sent several letters to Vatican representatives about McCarrick but they fell on deaf ears.He said in his letter that 'the corruption has reached the very top of the Church's hierarchy' and that's why he's speaking out publicly. The letter ended with Vigano asking Pope Francis, and others who allegedly tried to cover up the allegations, to resign.'He (Pope Francis) knew from at least June 23, 2013 that McCarrick was a serial predator,' Vigano stated, but although 'he knew that he was a corrupt man, he covered for him to the bitter end.' 'It was only when he was forced by the report of the abuse of a minor, again on the basis of media attention, that he took action (regarding McCarrick) to save his image in the media,' he wrote.Vigano wrote that Pope Francis 'is abdicating the mandate which Christ gave to Peter to confirm the brethren,' and urged him to 'acknowledge his mistakes' and, to 'set a good example to cardinals and bishops who covered up McCarrick's abuses and resign along with all of them.' The former DC nuncio also implicated Cardinals Angelo Sodano, Tarcisio Bertone and Pietro Parolin as well as Cardinal Donald Wuerl, McCarrick's successor as archbishop of DC.Earlier on Saturday, Pope Francis traveled to Ireland and addressed the sex abuse claims plaguing the Catholic Church.‘The failure of ecclesia

An investigation is being launched into how the attack was allowed to take place.A prison service spokesman told The Sun: 'Staff resolved an incident involving three prisoners at HMP Swaleside on 7 August.'The incident has been referred to the police so it would be inappropriate to comment further.' Smith and Simpson were each sentenced to 10 years' imprisonment for what were described as 'a series of spiteful assaults' on their very young son.Shocking pictures revealed the squalor inside the flat in Maidstone, Kent, where Smith and Simpson abused their baby. They had denied causing or allowing serious physical harm to a child but were both unanimously found guilty less than an hour after a jury retired to consider verdicts.Maidstone Crown Court in Kent heard that by the time baby Tony was seen by doctors at 41 days old, he was seconds from death with septicaemia. He was grey, frothing at the mouth and grunting, with a 'shockingly swollen' body and in multiple organ failure. It was only 'aggressive' medical treatment from the GP, paramedics and staff at Pembury Hospital in Kent and then London's Evelina Children's Hospital which saved his life. The court heard the horrific fractures to both the youngster's thighbones and lower legs, right ankle, left thumb and two bones in a big toe were revealed by subsequent x-rays.Experts later concluded they would have been caused by yanking, pulling and twisting, with considerable force and up to 10 days before he was finally taken to his doctor. The dislocated fracture to the youngster's right lower leg and ankle may have even been inflicted by a swinging action. He was in so much pain from this one injury alone that he showed signs of distress even when sedated in hospital.Sadly, the septicaemia was so severe that Tony, who has since been adopted and given a new identity, has been left with life-changing injuries. As well as having had both legs amputated, his hip joints are so damaged by infection that they may not

The Queen of Soul's body arrived in a shining gold casket at the Charles H.Wright Museum of African American History in her Detroit, Michigan, hometown on Tuesday morning for the start of her two-day public viewing.Franklin was transported to the museum in a vintage white Cadillac LaSalle, passing by as many as 200 of her fans who had slept on the sidewalk and were already lined up to be among the first to pay their respects to the singer. The same Cadillac was used to transport her father, Rev.C.L.Franklin, when he died in July 1984.It was also used to transport Rosa Parks' body when she died in 2005.Fans lined up overnight to pay their respects to the late Aretha Franklin and got a glimpse of the legendary singer as she lay in her gleaming gold casket wearing a red cocktail dress and matching shiny red stilettos Tuesday. The music icon died from advanced pancreatic cancer on August 16.She was 76.Franklin's niece, Sabrina Owens, told The Associated Press Tuesday that she and others who helped plan a public viewing in Detroit wanted to give the Queen of Soul a send-off that 'would match her legacy.' Owens noted that the pastel roses surrounding Franklin's gold-colored casket reflected the singer's love for the flower and her propensity to send arrangements 'in grand fashion.' Franklin was dressed in red to symbolize her honorary membership in the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and Owens said that dress looked like 'something she would have selected for herself' to wear on stage. She told INSIDE EDITION that the red dress had a lace bodice and sleeves and a netting skirt. Her shoes were Christian Louboutins and her jewelry was custom made for the funeral.Swanson told the Associated Press that her family has long been close with the Franklin family and that it was nothing for Franklin to call the funeral home and take care of families in financial need - 'usually in full without being asked or prompted to do so.' Ramos then told his friend: 'Do not worry about me!' He is still set to officiate a Davis Cup match this Friday between the US and Croatia.Seabra also reveals in his story that Ramos texted him in the wake of the match, sharing the advice he gave to his friend.'My advice was to move away, to avoid any further controversy and to tell you that time heals - and that it will also heal this,' wrote Seabra. The ITF defended Ramos in the wake of the controversy, which was so heated that it resulted in the umpire skipping the trophy presentation. It is tradition that in addition to the finalists, the chair umpire who oversees the final is also acknowledged at the end of the match.'Carlos Ramos is one of the most experienced and respected umpires in tennis.Mr.Ramos’ decisions were in accordance with the relevant rules and were re-affirmed by the US Open’s decision to fine Serena Williams for the three offences,' read the statement released by ITF.'It is understandable that this high profile and regrettable incident should provoke debate. At the same time, it is important to remember that Mr.Ramos undertook his duties as an official according to the relevant rule book and acted at all times with professionalism and integrity.' After the shocking collision other recreational boats nearby converged on the scene and downstream to help rescue victims.

She was able to tell police her name was Jee Young Lee and her father was Kyung Kuk Lee.She said her mother ran away because her father drank too much and beat her.Alanko returned to South Korea in 2008 to search for her family but found no leads. In June she decided to take the 23andMe DNA test and received a sibling match that said her brother was living in Salem, according to ABC.Her adoption report had failed to mention that she had a brother. But her adoptive mother recalled that when she first arrived in the U.S.she talked about how cute her 'baby brother' was.Alanko reached out to Kragt and learned the two learned they were abandoned in neighboring districts of Seoul and within a day of each other.'When I went back to Korea in 2008 and did a birth family search, I met Korean adoptees from France, Denmark, Germany.realizing that Justin had been living one state above me for all this time.what a mind trip!' It is unclear whether the video is tongue-in-cheek, but her admission is applauded by the group of friends she was with at Sant Ambroeus restaurant in New York. While a male-voice is heard calling her an 'icon', it is not obvious whether the ex-boyfriend in question was with her at the restaurant because his name is not mentioned, nor is he tagged in the post.Irene is the daughter of glamorous high flying lawyer Darina Lozovsky, 41, is Head of Capital Markets Practice at law firm White & Case LLP.Darina's father is Russian oligarch Valery Kogan, who footed the enormous bill for Irene's wedding last year, and is worth around $2bn.He also owns part of Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport. The wedding took place at London's Landmark Hotel, where the Presidential Suite costs £1,450-a-night and featured a star-studded bill of performances. The pair had a traditional Jewish ceremony, as both Irene and Daniel are Jewish. The groom is thought to be from London, although how he met Irene is unclear.Mariah Carey is said to have been paid £2.5million to fly in from the US and sing the 2005 ballad We Belong Together to the couple. The Sun reported that the bride wept when Sir Elton John, who charges no less than £1million, dedicated the song Tiny Dancer to her during a 12-song set.Actor Antonio Banderas, who now lives in London, also made a speech during the star-studded wedding, which ended with a DJ set from producer Mark Ronson. The bride wore a dress by one of Britain's most exclusive fashion brands, Ralph & Russo, which made Cheryl Cole's famous black wedding gown. The fashion house also boasts clients including Beyonce and Angelina Jolie, who wore one of their dresses to meet the Queen. The dress made for Irene was so extravagant that four people had to help her down the aisle, Cosmopolitan reported.Nor was any expense spared on the food.A 3-metre, ten-tier wedding cake was created by London-based Elizabeth Solaru. It cost £100,000 and featured five flavours, more than 10,000 sugar flowers, and contained some 1,000 duck eggs. The nine-course menu from the day shows the luxurious food offered to guests, including tuna tartare, risotto, sea bass with caviar and fillet of beef.Kogan, 64, who appeared on the Forbes rich list with an estimated £2billion as Russia’s 41st richest man in 2014, has an enviable portfolio of properties around the world. In 2013, Kogan invested at least £80m to build the most luxu

The Newcastle man, who posted fugitive videos online, was arrested north of Adelaide Wednesday afternoon and is expected to be extradited back to New South Wales, Daily Telegraph reported. The ex-Finks member, who was charged with the warrant from NSW, previously boasted about avoiding authorities in a number of videos he posted during his time on the run. ‘I don’t accept those laws, so I can’t be a criminal,' he said in one Facebook post.Mr Brooks took part in an interview with 9 News and said he was being harassed by police until he couldn't take it anymore. He had some more choice words for police in another of his Facebook live updates. ‘It’s the end of my patience I just took off to rebuild my life on my own terms,' he said. He geo-tagged his Facebook updates with different locations everyday including Melbourne, Canada and the Philippines in a calculated ploy.'My actions are very deliberate and they shall continue to be until I am either caught or handed in,' he said. His latest post was geo-tagged as coming from Amsterdam which he joked about in the interview. 'My feet aren’t taking well to clogs and the windmills messed up my hairstyle so that’s why I’ve got the hat,' he said.In a separate upload, he gave officers a 'shout out' and said they were failing to do their jobs. In the video, in which he wears sunglasses and black sweater and smokes a cigarette, he says: 'A shout out to detectives at a police station f****** anywhere'.'Get yer f****** s*** together, you still haven't found me, you f***.'He continues: 'OK? I'm not that f****** hard to find'. 'OK, I'll give you a clue: I'm not in Fiji. Hopefully that will help you in your investigations into ''where is Brooksie''?'Two hours after posting the video on Facebook, Brooks updated his location to Montreal, Canada by using the site's 'check in' feature. He wrote: 'Anyone want some maple syrup?' Brooks, who depicted himself as an outlaw, previously told The Daily Telegraph: 'After four constant years of police harassment and being a target, I simply wanted to be left in peace and to be a normal everyday working person as I was before they injected themselves into my life.'I enrolled in university and am also working long hours. I have no affiliation with any motorcycle club and do not participate in any criminal activity.'Asked if he wanted to hand himself in, he said: 'I eventually do but I want to make some noise first.'Brooks is expected to face court in South Australia at Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Thursday.

So, in the case of the Deanes and the Salyers, 'genetically, the two women are indistinguishable from one another, as are the two men,' Dr Burt says.'That means that each child will share as many genes with their aunt as they will with their mother

They are each charged with 11 counts of felony child abuse.Despite the serious charges, on Monday, the five suspects were granted $20,000 bond each.New Mexico Gov.Susana Martinez has already spoken out, saying she 'strongly disagreed' with the hearing's outcome and Backus's decision, Kob reports.'Unfortunately, it highlights how extreme the New Mexico Supreme Court has been in dictating pretrial release for all kinds of dangerous criminals,' she said. While the judge granted all the suspects bond, Siraj Ibn Wahhaj is likely to remain in jail pending a warrant for his arrest in Georgia on accusations that he abducted his disabled three-year-old son, Abdul-ghani, from the boy's mother in Atlanta, in December and fled to New Mexico.A body, believed to be Abdul-ghani's, was found buried in the desert near the compound shortly after the August 3 raid. The four other defendants may be released on house arrest as soon as Tuesday.Judge Sarah Backus said she wasn't convinced the suspects were a danger to the community and granted them bail to be released from jail, on condition they wear an ankle monitor and that they have only supervised visits with their children.Meanwhile, horrifying new details emerged about the death of Abdul-Ghani Wahhaj. The court heard that the toddler was taken by his father, who originally claimed he was taking his son to the park.In fact, he was taking him for an exorcism.Prosecutors say Abdul-ghani died amid a ritualistic religious ceremony intended to 'cast out demonic spirits.' FBI agent Travis Taylor testified saying that Abdul-ghani, who suffered from seizures, would sometimes foam at the mouth.'During these rituals, per witness statements, the victim, Abdul (Ghani Wahhaj) would begin to choke and have white foam or slime come from his mouth and then pass out,' Taylor said.Public defenders claim the boy's father was trying to heal the child with the ceremony, which they claim included reading passages from the Quran and placing his hand on the boy's head. But prosecutors claimed he was denying the boy medication. The children were told that Abdul-Ghani 'would become Jesus' when his demons were exorcised.Once he was resurrected, he would guide them and help them choose which targets to attack, a boy at the compound told investigators.'They were awaiting for Abdul-Ghani to be resurrected to let them know which government institutions to

But unlike the president, Barr hasn't tweeted since July 29.It was a tweet she shared on May 29 that derailed what was on pace to be a wildly successful reboot of her 1980s and 90s sitcom, 'Roseanne.' In the tweet, Barr wrote, 'muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj,' referring to Valerie Jarrett, who is a black woman who formerly served as an adviser to President Barack Obama. The tweet comparing Jarrett to an ape was the last straw for ABC Entertainment, President Channing Dungey said.Dungey, speaking out for the first time earlier this month about the controversy since Barr was fired in May, said it wasn't a hard decision to cancel the county's highest-rated comedy.'[The decision] was actually made very swiftly,' Dungey told Deadline.'We knew what we wanted to do, and we did it.' Dungey said the network wanted to act fast, which they knew would 'speak volumes,' rather than put Barr on leave and launch any sort of investigation.'For us, we have had multiple instances with Roseanne, and certainly this tweet crossed the line that cannot be crossed, but it was for us a sense of enough is enough and something had to be done,' she said.'It was nice that it was so clear to everyone that there wasn't a lot of debate and discussion about it.' The new 'Roseanne' aired just nine episodes before ABC pulled the plug on its broadcast, with the final show televised on May 22.Barr later apologized for the tweet, which has been deleted from her timeline, and claimed that she thought Jarrett was white.Upon her arrival in Los Angeles on Monday, Barr was accompanied by two men, as she made her way from baggage claim to her transportation, which was waiting for her outside. The men carried her luggage and other bags on their trek from baggage claim to the passenger pickup area at the busy travel hub.The star of the short-lived reboot of 'Roseanne' wore large sunglasses, covering her face, as she was peppered with questions from photographers.Barr ignored them completely after she uttered the initial expletive, instead opting to concentrate her focus on her smartphone. She was also tailed by at least two men with video cameras as she made her way through the terminal.Barr c

The case was initially treated as a missing person until a child's boy parts were found in different locations.Georgievsky was detained in December last year after police examined CCTV footage. He confessed and told detectives where he had dumped the boy's other body parts.A court this week convicted him of violent sex acts against a minor, and killing a child with a sexual motive. The punishment - handed down after closed-door hearings - means he will never be released under Russian law.The paedophile had begged forgiveness from the boy's mother Evgenia Alikulova, 28, but she was too traumatised to attend the final hearings of his case.'I did not want to see him,' she said, before revealing his sickening demand to be treated leniently.'I know that he begged forgiveness and pleaded with the judge not to be given a life sentence. He told how he wanted to return to life.'He told to the judge: 'I have not lost my hope to come back to the people.I'm in hell'.' My channel: https://goo.gl/vCXdrM ABOUT: Amonster dad strangled his two young children before hiding their bodies along with that of their pregnant mother in oil tanks, new court papers suggest on the eve of what would have been the mother's party to reveal her baby's gender.Lawyers for Christopher Lee Watts, 33, filed a motion on Friday in Weld County, Colorado, asking for DNA to be taken from the necks of the little girls’ bodies, and it strongly suggested they were strangled. There has been no official cause of death announced in the case, after the bodies of Shanann Watts, 34, and the couple's two daughters, four-year-old Bella and three-year-old Celeste, were recovered on Thursday from the oil field where Christopher worked.Christopher, 33, is being held without bail and faces three counts of first-degree murder and three counts of evidence tampering.Formal charges are expected to be filed on Monday, and prosecutors are believed to be weighing the death penalty - a rarity in Colorado, which has executed only one offender since capital punishment was reinstated in 1977.The new filing by court-appointed defense lawyer Megan Ring asks the judge to allow a DNA expert to be called to examine the bodies of the two young girls, and noted that autopsies were scheduled to be performed on Friday. The lawyer said she wants to make sure DNA from the little girls’ bodies is maintained and she has not been able to ascertain whether the prosecution is taking steps to do so.‘It does not seem clear that the coroner, pathologist, or anyone working on behalf of the prosecution team in autopsy plan to take swabs of the necks of the two decedent children,’ she said in a two-page filing to a court in Weld County, Colorado. She specifically asked for ‘several swabs of the neck’ to be taken, along with control swabs on other parts of the girls’ bodies. She said without a defense expert taking the swabs that evidence could be ‘lost forever.’ Ring asked that DNA expert Richard Eikelenboom be allowed to do the testing, saying that he believed that DNA would remain on the necks of the girls ‘in spite of the fact that the remains were in oil for four days’ - revealing for the first time that the bodies were hidden on Monday. The filing does not suggest taking any swabs from the neck of Shanann, and sheds no light on the pregnant mother's cause of death. The gruesome revelation of the girls' likely cause of death comes as Shanann's friends lament on what would have been the eve of the gender reveal party for her unborn baby.Shanann's brother Frankie Rzucek said in a heartbreaking Facebook post on Thursday that the unborn child was a boy, and the couple planned to name him Niko.Colorado is one of 12 states that does not bring murder charges for the homicide of an unborn child, and Christopher faces only three murder counts.Ashley Bell, a tanning salon owner who became close friends with Shanann after she began coming in as a customer,

Thank you for watching. Have a nice day! My channel: https://goo.gl/vCXdrM ABOUT: Bob Kraft's model girlfriend shared a precious social media snap of herself holding her baby girl at a carnival as mystery continues to surround the identity of the child's father.Ricki Lander posted the Instagram photo Wednesday afternoon with baby Monarch Somer in front of what appears to be a carousel with the caption: 'When you’re heart skips a beat!' The 38-year-old American actress has been in an on-and-off romantic relationship with the 77-year-old New England Patriots owner for roughly six years. It was revealed back in February that the couple welcomed the baby girl in the fall, but Kraft confirmed he was not the father.'Last fall, Ricki Noel Lander became the proud mother of a beautiful, healthy baby,' a rep for the Patriots said in a statement back in March.'While Robert Kraft is not the biological father, he is thrilled with Ricki’s blessing of having a healthy child. With respect to her family’s privacy, we will not be commenting any further.' There has been some speculation that the child had been carried via surrogate, as the statement does not implicitly say that Lander herself gave birth to Monarch.A source told Page Six at the time that billionaire Kraft housed his little family in a Los Angeles mansion and has been 'taking full care of Ricki and the baby.' The source added: 'Bob is fully supporting the child.there is a lot of tiptoeing around the subject at the Patriots offices.everyone is afraid to openly talk about it.' Kraft has three of his own children - sons Jonathan, Joshua, David and Daniel.Despite their long-term relationship, Kraft has not yet popped the question. He did, however, gift his model girlfriend with a Super Bowl ring following the Patriots' 2015 victory to the Seattle Seahawks. The blonde beauty has posted little about her 77-year-old sweetheart as of late on social media. She did, however, share other sweet moments with her daughter over the summer. The happy pair were pictured last month splashing at the pool with the baby in a blue swimsuit and Lander in a matching cover-up.Also last month, Lander posted her daughter's first selfie, alongside the caption: 'Well Hello There.!!!' The Salt Lake City-born actress embraced her new bundle of joy in her first-ever photo in May.The overjoyed mom captioned it: 'This year has been overflowing with love, light and blessings.A beautiful little angel came into our lives.'She has brought more love and joy than I ever could have imagined.I love you so much little one.thank you for choosing me as your mommy! #mothersday #MonarchSomer'.

Thank you for watching. Have a nice day! My channel: https://goo.gl/vCXdrM ABOUT: Former President Jimmy Carter prefers a simple life compared to the opulence of his successors and after opening his modest home to reporters, a video of him flying commercial has re-emerged, capturing the heart of Americans across the nation. The 39th president went viral after he boarded a Delta flight from Atlanta to Los Angeles on June 8 last summer and instead of holing up in first class, the 93-year-old headed down the aisle to shake hands with passengers and smile for selfies.Heart-melting footage displays the president walking down the aisle enthusiastically greeting passengers as fans say 'You're my favorite president!' and 'I love you Jimmy Carter'.The Georgia native says flying commercial is his only mode of transport - a stark contrast from the private jet lifestyle of modern presidents including Trump - and it's just one of the many ways he leads a simple life following his presidency from 1977 to 1981.According to the Washington Post, Carter is dubbed the 'un-celebrity president' who instead of cashing in on political riches post-presidency, returned to his small Georgia hometown of Plains and to his two-bedroom ranch home valued at $167,000.'He doesn’t like big shots, and he doesn’t think he’s a big shot,' his former White House communications director, Gerald Rafshoon said.In fact, Carter costs US taxpayers the least money of any former US President according to the General Services Administration. The total bill for him in the current fiscal year was $456,000, covering pensions, an office, security staff and other expenses. That's nearly a quarter of what Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and George W.Bush cost - as they've all racked up bills of more than $1million last year.Carter says he didn't want to pursue riches. He just wanted to go home.'I don't see anything wrong with it; I don't blame other people for doing it,' Carter told a reporter after inviting them into his home earlier this month.'It just never had been my ambition to be rich.' Instead of making money from corporate speaking and joining the boards of big companies as his predecessor Gerald Ford had, Carter returned to the town where he was born and started his career as a peanut farmer. When the Democrat returned home his finances were in tatters as his peanut business was $1million in debt.He was forced to sell it and took to the pen to repair his finances - writing 33 books on a variety of subjects, although not as successfully as modern Presidents. On top of his writing revenue, the 39th President of the United States also commands a $210,700 annual pension which all former presidents receive. But despite his sizeable income, Carter said he was determined to live a modest life in the south Georgia township. He is the only president in the modern era to return full-time to the house he lived in before he entered politics, a modest two-bedroom cottage assessed at $167,000.Carter survived a hea

Thank you for watching. Have a nice day! My channel: https://goo.gl/vCXdrM ABOUT: Australia's geopolitical tensions with China are set to escalate as it plans to build a new military base in Papua New Guinea that can also host American warships.Six weeks before he was overthrown in a Liberal Party leadership coup, former prime minister Malcolm Turnbull discussed with this PNG counterpart Peter O'Neill the idea of re-developing the Lombrum Naval Base on Manus Island. The political leaders met in Brisbane on July 11, with The Australian learning Mr O'Neill was 'very interested' in the idea and had even put his support in writing. The base, run by Australia for 25 years until PNG gained independence in 1975, would be capable of hosting Australian and American warships on Manus Island, where asylum seekers are sent for processing. The Australian Defence Force is understood to be conducting a scoping study of the area, with News Corp Australia reporting the former Turnbull government had wanted a deal signed with PNG before November's Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation summit, which is being held in Port Moresby.Chinese President Xi Jinping is hosting a special APEC conference for regional leaders in the PNG capital. The idea of stationing Australian and American naval warships in the area is set to infuriate China, with Beijing in 2011 expressing diplomatic concern about U.S.marines being stationed in Darwin. While China is Australia's biggest two-way trading partner, Australia is suspicious about Chinese espionage activity, banning telecommunications firm Huawei from bidding for the National Broadband Network. In July, Mr Turnbull signed a deal for Australia to fund a $136 million internet cable between Australia, PNG and the Solomon Islands in a bid to stop Huawei from doing so.He attended the State of Origin with Mr O'Neill and Solomon Islands PM Rick Houenipwela as part of the diplomatic charm offensive, as the Queensland Maroons defeated the New South Wales Blues 18-12.Mr Turnbull's successor Prime Minister Scott Morrison was tight-lipped about the possible new naval base on Thursday.'The Pacific is a very high-priority area of strategic national security interest for Australia. We work very closely with all our Pacific partners,' he told the Seven Network.'But I'm not going to comment on speculation on national security issues, that would not be appropriate.
