Biggest Mirror Of God- Salar De Uyuni, Bolivia

07:19
South East of Bolivia is the location of the biggest Salt Flat in the world, "Uyuni Salt Flat. In a world where the time flies, where people are required to work on a fast speed and stress is more and more common in humans, the choice of where to go gives now priority to places that offered silence and tranquility. In Bolivia, near the border with Chile, there is a small community where the main economic activities apart from llama-herding and quinua-farming, is mining salt. Uyuni Salt Lake is a peculiar place. About 40,000 years ago, this arid area used to be part of a lake that covered a large swath of the Andes. Nowadays it is The World's Biggest Salt Desert. South East of Bolivia is the location of the biggest Salt Flat in the world, "Uyuni Salt Flat". The crust of salt covers a surface of 10.582 Km2. of extension, at an altittude of 3.653 meters above sea level, like a static sea touched by by the southern winds. Like any other desert, the weather conditions in Uyuni Bolivia are extreme, from freezing night temperatures to fierce desert sun. In the Salar itself, you can find several hotels which have been made from salt bricks, including beds, chairs and cocktail bars. All is made from salt! Furthermore, the Salar de Uyuni has impressive views. A flat whiteness, fringed by the peaks of mountains on the horizon beneath a bright blue sky can be admired by tourists. Besides, the silence that one can experience in this region is captivating. Calm and tranquility, not easily found anywhere, characterizes this landscape. As many other parts of South America, this developing area has very little to offer in terms of commodity. However, if you have an adventurous spirit you will be overwhelmed by its natural beauty. lake retba, mount roraima, phytoplankton, lake hillier, socotra island, the great blue hole, salar de uyuni bolivia, best time to visit salar de uyuni bolivia tours, salar de uyuni tours, salar de uyuni, best time to go, salar de uyuni tours cost, salar de uyuni mirror, salar de uyuni facts, salar de uyuni tours from la paz, salar de uyuni weather, salar de uyuni map, beautiful places to see in bolivia, beautiful places to see, amazing places, For more, please log on to : https://www.youtube.com/BeautifulPlacesToSee

Beautiful Places To See- The Great Ocean Road, 12 Apostles

05:42
Port Campbell National Park - The Great Ocean Road - 12 Apostles Port Campbell National Park- The Great Ocean Road & The Twelve Apostles at Victoria Australia Like us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/MrinmayKumerBiswas Witness the rugged splendor of the famous 12 Apostles, magnificent rock stacks that rise up majestically from the Southern Ocean on Victoria's dramatic coastline.Created by constant erosion of the limestone cliffs of the mainland beginning 10-20 million years ago, the stormy Southern Ocean and blasting winds gradually eroded the softer limestone, forming caves in the cliffs. The caves eventually became arches and when they collapsed rock stacks up to 45 meters high were left isolated from the shore. View the 12 Apostles at sunrise and sunset as they change color from dark and foreboding in shadow to brilliant sandy yellow under a full sun. The 12 Apostles are located 275 kilometer west of Melbourne, approximately a four-hour drive along the Great Ocean Road. (There's no better place to lose life's daily trivia than the dramatic, rugged and windswept coastline where the world-famous Twelve Apostles sit. These limestone pillars rise out of the Southern Ocean in Port Campbell National Park like the noble, craggy sentinels of an ancient world. Once upon a time or up to 20 million years ago they were connected to the cliffs of the mainland. The waves and wind carved them into caves, then arches, and eventually battered them down into columns that rise up to 45 meters high. The fierce elements continue to erode the stacks at a rate of roughly two centimeters a year. Today only eight stacks remain and some have given up the fight against nature in recent years. The London Arch was part of a natural double-span bridge until 1990 when the arch closest to the shore collapsed, leaving two stunned tourists stranded. Another 50 meter tall Apostle fell in 2005. It's an invigorating, end-of-the-earth feeling to see this coastline when it's being whipped by howling winds and huge seas. Feel the sea spray on your face, hear the blowholes roar as they spurt with water and watch the ocean foaming around the stacks. On calmer days, you can see the Twelve Apostles morph from foreboding silhouettes in shadow to glorious sand-coloured monuments in the sun. Capture soul-stirring views at sunrise and sunset or get an idea of the epic scale of this place from the wide beach below. Follow the Gibson Steps 70 metres down the cliff face to the sand, where you'll be literally dwarfed by a gigantic rock stack. Learn about shipwreck history, geology and coastal ecology on self-guided walks at Loch Ard Gorge. Or get up close to spectacular Apostles such as Razorback, Island Archway, Thunder Cave, Bakers Oven Rock, Sentinel Rocks and the Grotto. You can even take in this sculpted, shipwreck coast with a history lesson on a helicopter trip. The elements have been wearing down the huge pillars for millions of years, but they'll only take a few minutes to erode your small stuff.

Wisteria- The Most Beautiful Flower On Earth (Ashikaga Flower Park, Japan)

10:41
Wisteria (also spelled Wistaria or Wysteria) is a genus of flowering plants in the pea family, Fabaceae, that includes ten species of woody climbing vines native to the Eastern United States and to China, Korea, and Japan. Some species are popular ornamental plants, especially in China and Japan. An aquatic flowering plant with the common name wisteria or 'water wisteria' is in fact Hygrophila difformis, in the family Acanthaceae. Botanical name: Wisteria Plant type: Shrub USDA Hardiness Zones: 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 Sun exposure: Full Sun, Part Sun Flower color: Red, Blue, Purple, White Bloom time: Spring If your garden is an outdoor room, wisteria provides the drapery and slipcover—to camouflage a view or provide living shade over porch and pergola. Something between a vine and a shrub, wisteria blooms vigorously in spring with showy, cascading flower clusters that provide quick-growing color. However, note that it can take a good six years for a newly established wisteria to start flowering—sometimes longer! The vine may grow 10 feet or more in one year! This gives the artful gardener a paintbrush with which to cover the landscape-canvas. Wisteria is also beautifully fragrant providing a feast for the senses. Note: Some types of wisteria are considered invasive pests; check with your local cooperative extension. All parts of this plant, especially the seeds, are poisonous. Planting Grow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Ensure placement has full Sun. Though wisteria will grow in partial shade, it probably won't flower. Sun is essential. If your soil is in poor condition, add compost; otherwise, wisteria will grow in most soils. Plant in the spring or fall. Dig a hole as deep as the root ball and 2 to 3 times as wide. Space plants 10 to 15 feet apart. Choose a site that will not overwhelm nearby plants as wisteria grows quickly and can overtake other plants. Care Each spring, apply a layer of compost under the plant and a 2-inch layer of mulch to retain moisture and control weeds. Some gardeners swear by phosphorus to aid flowering. Scratch a couple of cups of bone meal into the soil in the spring and then add some rock phosphate in the Fall. Water your plants if you receive less than one inch of rain each week. (To know how much rain you are getting, you can place an empty tuna can outside and measure the depth of water with a measuring stick.) wisteria flower meaning, wisteria flower tunnel, wisteria flower pictures, wisteria flower buds photos, wisteria flower buds pictures, wisteria flower essence, wisteria flower tunnel path, wisteria flower shop, wisteria tunnel at kawachi fuji gardens japanese wisteria garden, wisteria tunnel location, kitakyushu wisteria, wisteria flower tunnel path, wisteria flower tunnel at kawachi fuji garden, wisteria flower tunnel walkway, kawachi fuji garden, Fore more: Please subscribed the channel on to: https://www.youtube.com/BeautifulPlacesToSee

In A Beautiful Morning- Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh (The Longest Sea Beach In The World)

06:27
Cox’s Bazar is the pride and joy for all Bangladeshi, Cox’s Bazar is lauded throughout the land as if it’s a contender for one of the natural wonders of the world. It is the longest continual natural beach on the planet (125km), but a world wonder it isn’t. In fact, it’s not even the nicest beach in Bangladesh (the beaches on nearby St Martin’s Island and at Kuakata in Barisal division are far more scenic). However, Cox’s Bazar is the most developed of any holiday destination in Bangladesh and as such you’ll find tourist facilities that are better than anywhere outside Dhaka. Your travels in Cox'es Bazaar are getting the better of you and you just fancy some home comforts and a bit of fresh air, consider swinging by for a couple of days. Cox's Bazar/ Cox's Bazaar (কক্সবাজার) is a town, a fishing port and district headquarters in Bangladesh. It is one of the world's longest uninterrupted natural sandy sea beaches. The beach in Cox's Bazar is an unbroken 125 km sandy sea beach with a gentle slope. It is located 150 km south of the industrial port Chittagong. Cox’s Bazar is also known by the name Panowa, whose literal translation means "yellow flower." Its other old name was "Palongkee". The modern Cox's Bazar derives its name from Captain Hiram Cox (died 1799), an officer serving in British India. An officer of the British East India Company, Captain Cox was appointed Superintendent of Palongkee outpost after Warren Hastings became Governor of Bengal. Captain Cox was specially mobilized to deal with a century-long conflict between Arakan refugees and local Rakhains. He embarked upon the mammoth task of rehabilitating refugees in the area and made significant progress. A premature death took Captain Cox in 1799 before he could finish his work. To commemorate his role in rehabilitation work, a market was established and named Cox's Bazar ("Cox's Market") after him. Cox's Bazar is one of the most-visited tourist destinations in Bangladesh. Recently a lot of good quality resorts and residential hotels are developed for the foreign tourists. In 2013, the Bangladesh Government formed the Tourist Police unit to better protect local and foreign tourists, as well as to look after the nature and wildlife in the tourist spots of Cox's Bazar. 1. Beautiful Flower On Earth- Cosmos

04:48
Cosmos are annuals, grown for their showy flowers. The flower heads may be bowl– or open cup–shaped and are atop of long stems. Cosmos are easy to grow and make good border or container plants. They make for good decorations in flower arrangements and also attract birds, bees, and butterflies to your garden. Planting If you want a head start, you can plant cosmos indoors 4 to 6 weeks before the last spring frost in trays or pots with a good seed-starting mixture. Seedlings grow fast, so move them into 5-inch pots as soon as they're 3 or 4 inches tall. Plant seeds in moist, well-drained soil about 1/4-inch deep and 12–18 inches apart after the danger of frost has passed. You can also plant transplants instead of seeds. They also like soil that is not too rich. They can tolerate warm, dry weather. Depending on the type of flower, cosmos can grow anywhere between 18–60 inches tall. If you are growing cosmos from seeds, be mindful that it takes about 7 weeks to first bloom. After that, though, your flowers should continue to bloom until the next frost. Care In order to prolong flowering, you should deadhead the plants (remove the dead/faded flowers). Because some of these plants can grow really tall, staking may be necessary. Water regularly, but make sure you don't over-water the plants. Over-watering and over-fertilization can lead to plants with fewer flowers. Cosmos beds may become weedy due to the fact that they self-seed, so remember to check them. Pests: Stem canker Powdery mildew Gray mold Aphids Harvest/Storage: To harvest more seeds, remember to leave a few flowers on the plant because they will self-seed. You can cut the flowers off anytime after blooming, but it's best to pick some right when the petals have opened. If you cut the blossoms on good stems when they first open, they'll last more than a week in water. Recommended Varieties Picotee, which have pretty white flowers with a crimson border around the edge of the flower (some are also flecked in crimson) Sea Shells, which have white, pink, or red tube-shaped petals For more, please log onto: https://www.youtube.com/BeautifulPlacesToSee
Beautiful Places To See- The Cotton Castle (Hierapolis, Pamukkale, Turkey)

04:55
Beautiful Places To See- The Cotton Castle, Hierapolis, Pamukkale, Turkey (A Gift of God for the human beings) Most beautiful places on Earth! In this perfect world, there are so many amazing places to visit but unfortunately we can't. I hope all you are like this video. Please subscribed for more: https://www.youtube.com/BeautifulPlacesOnEarth Deriving from springs in a cliff almost 200 m high overlooking the plain of Cürüksu in south-west Turkey, calcite-laden waters have created an unreal landscape, made up of mineral forests, petrified waterfalls and a series of terraced basins given the name of Pamukkale (Cotton Palace). Located in the province of Denizli, this extraordinary landscape was a focus of interest for visitors to the nearby Hellenistic spa town of Hierapolis, founded by the Attalid kings of Pergamom at the end of the 2nd century B.C., at the site of an ancient cult. Its hot springs were also used for scouring and drying wool. Ceded to Rome in 133 B.C., Hierapolis flourished, reaching its peak of importance in the 2nd and 3rd centuries A.D., having been destroyed by an earthquake in 60 A.D. and rebuilt. Remains of the Greco-Roman period include baths, temple ruins, a monumental arch, a nymphaeum, a necropolis and a theatre. Following the acceptance of Christianity by the emperor Constantine and his establishment of Constantinople as the 'new Rome' in 330 A.D., the town was made a bishopric. As the place of St. Philip's martyrdom in 80 A.D., commemerated by his Martyrium building in the 5th century, Hierapolis with its several churches became an important religious center for the Eastern Roman Empire. The combination of striking natural formations and the development of a complex system of canals, bringing the thermal water to nearby villages and fields, is exceptional. The springs are the source of a hydraulic system extending 70 km northwest to Alasehir and westwards along the valley of the Menderes River. Pamukkale forms an important backdrop to the original Greco-Roman town of Hierapolis and the cultural landscape which dominates the area. For all details you can log onto: http://whc.unesco.org/en/list/485/ Hierapolis (Greek: Ἱεράπολις 'sacred city') was an ancient Greco-Roman city in Phrygia located on hot springs in southwest Anatolia. Its ruins are adjacent to modern Pamukkale, Turkey. Hierapolis is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The hot springs there have been used as a spa since the 2nd century BCE, and people came to soothe their ailments, with many of them retiring or dying here. The large necropolis is filled with sarcophagi, including the Sarcophagus of Marcus Aurelius Ammianos. Part of the archeological site of Hierapolis The great baths were constructed with huge stone blocks without the use of cement, and consisted of various closed or open sections linked together. There are deep niches in the inner section of the bath, library, gymnasium and other closed or open locations. The complex, which was constructed in the 2nd century BCE, constitutes a good example of vault type architecture. The complex is now an archaeological museum. Hierapolis is located in the Menderes River valley adjacent to the modern Turkish city of Pamukkale and nearby Denizli. It is located in Turkey's inner Aegean region, which has a temperate climate for most of the year. See Pamukkale#Geology for more detail Pamukkale, meaning "cotton castle" in Turkish, is a natural site in Denizli Province in southwestern Turkey. The city contains hot springs and travertines, terraces of carbonate minerals left by the flowing water. It is located in Turkey's Inner Aegean region, in the River Menderes valley, which has a temperate climate for most of the year. Travertine terrace formations at Pamukkale, Turkey. May 21, 2011 The ancient Greco-Roman and Byzantine city of Hierapolis was built on top of the white "castle" which is in total about 2,700 metres (8,860 ft) long, 600 m (1,970 ft) wide and 160 m (525 ft) high. It can be seen from the hills on the opposite side of the valley in the town of Denizli, 20 km away. Tourism is and has been a major industry. People have bathed in its pools for thousands of years. As recently as the mid-20th century, hotels were built over the ruins of Hieropolis, causing considerable damage. An approach road was built from the valley over the terraces, and motor bikes were allowed to go up and down the slopes. When the area was declared a World Heritage Site, the hotels were demolished and the road removed and replaced with artificial pools. Wearing shoes in the water is prohibited to protect the deposits.Pamukkale is a tourist attraction. It is recognized as a World Heritage Site together with Hierapolis. Hierapolis-Pamukkale was made a World Heritage Site in 1988

This might look like a passenger train, but it’s actually JR West’s ‘Doctor Yellow’ – a special train that monitors the condition of the yellow train kindergarten, yellow train youtube, yellow train school address, yellow train marathon, yellow train on thomas, yellow train yards, yellow train timetable 2014, yellow train rhymes, JUL 27, 2014 Four hundred rail fans had an opportunity to take a look at the inside of a rare, almost mythical, version of the bullet train nicknamed “Doctor Yellow” for the first time ever Saturday. Central Japan Railway Co. (JR Tokai) held the event at its rail yard in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture, to mark the 50th anniversary of the launch of the Tokaido Shinkansen Line. The “doctor” part of the nickname comes from the train’s purpose, which is to check rails and overhead cables for abnormalities as the trains cruise the tracks at speeds of up to 270 kph. About 45,000 pairs of people applied to view the inside of the yellow seven-car test train. Of them, 200 pairs were selected by lottery for the privilege, which opened up cars No. 4 to No. 7 for viewing. Doctor Yellow runs only once in every 10 days or so and its timetable is not disclosed. Many rail fans even believe that a chance encounter with the train is a sign of good luck. There are two Doctor Yellow trains on the Tokaido Shinkansen Line. One is owned by JR Tokai.

Beautiful Places To See- Emerald lake, Yoho National Park, Canada

Beautiful Places To See- Emerald lake, Yoho National Park, Canada Emerald Lake is located in Yoho National Park, British Columbia, Canada. It is the largest of Yoho's 61 lakes and ponds, as well as one of the park's premier tourist attractions. Emerald Lake Lodge, a high-end lodge perched on the edge of the lake, provides local accommodation. A 5.2 km (3.2 mi) hiking trail circuits the lake, the first half of which is accessible to wheelchairs and strollers. During the summer months, canoe rentals are available; in the winter, the lake is a popular cross country skiing destination. The lake is enclosed by mountains of the President Range, as well as Mount Burgess and Wapta Mountain. This basin traps storms, causing frequent rain in summer and heavy snowfalls in winter. This influx of moisture works with the lake's low elevation to produce a unique selection of flora. Trees found here are more typical of B.C.'s wet interior forests, such as western red cedar, western yew, western hemlock and western white pine. The alluvial fan on the northeast shore produces wildflowers in abundance during late June and early July. Due to its high altitude, the lake is frozen from November until June. The vivid turquoise color of the water, caused by powdered limestone, is most spectacular in July as the snow melts from the surrounding mountains. The first European to set sight on Emerald Lake was guide Tom Wilson, who stumbled upon it by accident in 1882. A string of his horses had gotten away, and it was while tracking them that he first entered the valley. The lake had an impression on even the most seasoned of explorers: "For a few moments I sat [on] my horse and enjoyed the rare, peaceful beauty of the scene." It was Wilson who gave the lake its name because of its remarkable color, caused by fine particles of glacial sediment, also referred to as rock flour, suspended in the water. However, this was not the first time Wilson had dubbed a lake 'Emerald'. Earlier that same year he had discovered another lake which he had given the same moniker, and the name even appeared briefly on the official map. This first lake however, was shortly renamed Lake Louise. emerald lake camping, emerald lake hike, emerald lake resort emerald lake fishing, emerald lake sask, emerald lake coupons emerald lake lodge reviews, emerald lake puslinch, Green Mountain, Lake, Forest, Clouds, Reflection.National, Canada, British, Emerald, Yoho Lake, Park, Columbia, Canadian Rocky Mountain, Book Emerald Lake Lodge, Field, Canada, Emerald Lake, Ontario Canada For more please subscribe to: https://www.youtube.com/BeautifulPlacesToSee

4,700 Feet above Scarist Glass Walkway Path in Tianmen Mountain, Zhangjiajie, China

06:42
It is certainly not a path for the faint-hearted. On one side a sheer rock face, on the other a 4,000 ft drop - and all to separate the brave traveler from a deadly plunge is a 3ft-wide, 2.5in thick walkway. And if that is not enough to bring terror into the pit of your stomach, the path running alongside a Chinese mountainside is made out of glass, allowing a crystal-clear view of where one false step can take you. So it was perhaps understandable that this woman tackled the walkway by sticking as close to the cliff as possible, feeling her way along with tentative steps. The skywalk is situated 4,700 ft above sea level on the side of the Tianmen Mountain in Zhangjiajie, China. The 200ft long bridge joins the west cliff at the Yunmeng Fairy Summit, the summit of Tianmen Mountain and Zhang Jiajie. And it would appear to be too scary for the cleaners - tourists are asked to put on shoe covers before passing to help keep the path clean. The pathway, built earlier in the summer echoes the glass-bottomed walkway at the Grand Canyon in the U.S. The 70ft bridge is 4,000ft above the natural wonder and allows tourists to look through 2.5in of crystal-clear glass to the Canyon floor below. The Tianmen mountain, literally translated as Heavenly Gate Mountain is so called because of a huge natural cave that occurs halfway up to the summit. Situated in the Hunan Province, Its highest peak is around 5,000ft above sea level and it is home to a wealth of rare species of plants A four-mile-long cable car was constructed in the park, which is said to be the longest of the same type in the world. And no matter how terrifying the glass walkway may be - it can only be an improvement from another sky high mountain walkway located in the same province. The Shifou Mountain, located 82 miles away, offers sightseers a 3ft-wide road made of wooden planks thousands of feet high. When finished the wooden 'road' - which is the width of a dinner table - will stretch for 1.8miles making it China's longest sightseeing path. longest passenger cableway of high mountains in the world, China's newest tourist attraction, Don't look down! Compilation Of W7 Series Shinkansen Bullet Train 2016 (Max. Speed 260/ 270 Km/h)

08:08
have a look and enjoy Compilation Of W7 Series Shinkansen Bullet Train 2016 (Max. Speed 260/ 270 Km/h) W7 Series Shinkansen Bullet Train is the newest member of the Japanese high speed train family. Mechanically, this new trainset is based on the current mountainous Nagano Shinkansen flagship, the Series E2. Not built for top speed, the Series E7 or W7 electric multiple unit (EMU), depends on whether owned by the East or West Japan Railway Company, is designed to replaced the E2 for the newest extension of the Japanese high speed rail network of the current Nagano Shinkansen, called the Hokuriku Shinkansen for the Hokuriku region. Upon the completion of the Hokuriku Shinkansen, the railroad companies of Japan will have almost completed a ring route in the center of the Honshu Island. It is also interesting that this is the first time the West Japan Railway Company (JR West) uses a classification scheme beginning with the letter W rather than a 3-digit number beginning with an odd number (i.e. traditionally, the Series 100, 300, 500, 700, N700, and N700a, with the exception of the grandfather high speed train the Series 0). The JR East, on the other hand, began using a new classification scheme after the Series 400 beginning with the letter E (traditionally, the JR East had Series 200 and 400) and the E7 is the 7th train with such a classification). Anyway, back to the train herself. Without a very high top speed in service, the E7/W7 does not have to be designed with an exaggerated-looking aerodynamic nose to reduce noise and pressure shock when entering/exiting tight tunnels along the line. The E7/W7 features a quite attractive exterior really with quite an exquisite looking designer color scheme (at this rate I don't think I'll need another post, I'm kind of just going on and on and on about this thing and feeling shallow about it). The E7/W7 is a 12-car high speed EMU having a traditionally Japanese consist of 10M2T (10 powered and 2 non-powered or trailing cars) with non-powered cab cars. Not so sure on total power output right now, but she is probably in the 16 000 hp range. The E7/W7 is designed to have a top speed of 160 mph (really, 260 metric whatchamacallit per hour). Beautiful Places To See- Lake O'Hara, Yoho National Park, British Columbia, Canada Please subscribed: https://www.youtube.com/BeautifulPlacesToSee for many more amazing videos world wide. Generations of visitors to Yoho National Park have regarded the alpine splendor of the Lake O'Hara area with deep reverence. Here are amassed the bubbling brooks, vibrant mosses, vast rock amphitheatres of snow, cloud and light that have inspired the works of scores of humbled artists, chief among them the luminaries of Canada's renowned Group of Seven. Recognizing the fragility of Lake O'Hara's alpine environment and the importance of ensuring its preservation, Parks Canada has limited summer access. The village of Field has long served as a gateway to the region, with a ten-minute outing from town being all that separates campers and hikers from the morning shuttle. Eager adventurers willing to make the 11km trek into the region may do so on foot. A stairway of small ponds serve as incremental passageways from the deep, frigid glacially-fed lakes found largely above the tree line in the high plateaus sourcing Lake O'Hara's basin. Seven Sisters Falls, visible from the lake approach, is the most immediately striking evidence that O'Hara may have competition for the claim of most stunning lake in the region. The richly toned Lakes Oesa, Opabin, and McArthur all make worthy visits, with high chances of catching a glimpse of Yoho's mountain wildlife. Hikers frequently spot Mountain Goats, Hoary Marmots and Pikas. Summer adventurers have the opportunity to explore a diverse range of over 80 km of alpine hiking trails in relative solitude. Day hikers encounter a unique mix of high altitude ridges, flowering alpine meadows, flowing streams, lichen-covered rock faces, imposing cliffs, and scattered boulder fields. Le Relais Day Shelter is available for hikers to grab a snack, warm up, and seek out hiking advice from locals. In wintertime shuttle access to Lake O'Hara is put on hold and only those who trek in on cross country skis are able to enjoy these magical surroundings as they're coolly draped in silent slumber. Ski touring is popular here, with runs ranging from simple flats to rolling backcountry jaunts along glaciers and steep slopes. For many, one day is not enough to properly explore the region's vast swath of trails, and there are plenty of options for overnight stays. Bed down at the Alpine Club of Canada's Elizabeth Parker Hut, open year-round and offering amenities like a wood stove for keeping warm, propane lighting, and kitchen facilities including an oven. The 30-site O'Hara Campground is popular with families, while those seeking more familiar comforts and hospitality can be served accordingly at the Lake O'Hara Lodge. Seating on the shuttle bus into Lake O'Hara during the summer is on a reservation basis through Parks Canada. The bus typically runs from mid-June through early October. Beautiful Places To See- Transfagarasan Highway, Romania (Road of Dream for The Driver

07:48
More than 150 kilometres in length the Transfagarasan Highway is Romania’s most spectacular and best known road and, thanks to an appearance on BBC Top Gear in 2009, now one of the country’s most popular tourist attractions. Fully open only from June to October, the road’s highest point is at 2042 metres: the tunnel which links the northern and southern sides at Lake Balea The Transfagarasan - as with everything else in Romania at the time, it would seem - was built from 1970-1974 on the personal orders of Nicolae Ceausescu, who, legend has it, wanted to create a strategic route across the Fagaras Mountains to ferry troops north should Romania be invaded by the USSR (as Czechoslovakia had been in 1968). This legend of course ignores the fact that a perfectly good and far quicker route around the mountains (the Valea Oltului) already existed, and that any strategic impact of a road open for only a few months each year would have been minimal. Still, who are we to question a good urban myth? A far more likely explanation for the construction of the road was the simple fact that the mountains were there, and that the road across the very top would serve as a proud example of just what socialist Romania - with Ceausescu as its leader - could achieve. Much like the Danube-Black Sea Canal project of the 1980s the Transfagarasan was therefore built as a status symbol with little regard for cost or usefulness. (Indeed - whisper it - but the Transfagarasan is fundamentally useless). Yet whereas the Danube-Black Sea Canal is today the biggest white elephant in the country (it carries very little marine traffic), the Transfagarasan has never been more popular. Always a favoured weekend trip for Romanian drivers, its international fame now means that motoring enthusiasts from all over Europe (particularly Poland, in our experience) beat a path here each summer. While the you can just about do the Transfagarasan in a (long) day trip from Bucharest, we recommend taking a couple of days: besides the Transfagarasan itself there is plenty to see along the way.

Beautiful Places To See- Erta Ale, Ethiopia (The Lava Lake)

09:16
Beautiful Places To See- Erta Ale, Ethiopia (The Lava Lake) Erta Ale is 613 metres (2,011 ft) high, with one or sometimes two active lava lakes at the summit which occasionally overflow on the south side of the volcano. It is notable for holding the longest-existing lava lake, present since the early years of the twentieth century (1906). Volcanoes with lava lakes are very rare: there are only six in the world. Erta Ale means "smoking mountain" in the local Afar language and its southernmost pit is known locally as "the gateway to Hell". In 2009, it was mapped by a team from the BBC using three-dimensional laser techniques, in order for the mapping team to maintain a distance and avoid the lakes' searingly hot temperatures. Erta Ale is centered over the east African rift system, which is a triple junction setting whose movements are resulting in the formation of a pull apart basin or rift. The volcano comprises mainly Mafic material which has been brought up to the surface caused by unroofing of the mantle due to this rift formation. Not much is known about Erta Ale, as the surrounding terrain is some of the most inhospitable on Earth and the native Afar people have a legendary reputation for viciousness towards outsiders; one travel guide recommends hiring "one or maybe two armed guards or police" to visit Erta Ale. However, they welcomed and helped a team from BBC. On January 16, 2012, a group of German, Austrian and Hungarian scientists/tourists was attacked at Erta Ale. Five scientists/tourists were killed, some taken as hostages and others wounded. The Afar Revolutionary Democratic Unity Front (ARDUF) claimed responsibility for the attack and released the two kidnapped tourists in March 2012. St. Martin's Island (সেন্ট মার্টিন্স দ্বীপ/ সেন্ট মার্টিন আইল্যান্ড) is a small island (area only 8 km2) in the northeastern part of the Bay of Bengal, about 9 km south of the tip of the Cox's Bazar Teknaf peninsula, and forming the southernmost part of Bangladesh. There is a small adjoining island that is separated at high tide, called Chhera Island. It is about 8 kilometers (5 miles) west of the northwest coast of Myanmar, at the mouth of the Naf River. Local name of the island is "Narical Gingira", also spelled "Narikel Jinjira/ Jinjera", that means 'Coconut Island' in Bengali. It is the only one coral island in Bangladesh. St Martin’s Island is perfect for tourist who is truly interested in escaping the holds of a modern world. Do not expect to find taxis, tarred roads or electricity here. Lodges are dependent on generators, as the island is all about sun, sea and palm trees. During the day, the island comes alive with water and beach sports, with beach parties and bonfires lighting up the evening skies. For the use of a phone or a reminder of what a television set looks like, visitors can pop down to the Coast Guard station. It's possible to walk around the island in a day because it measures only 8 km2 (3 sq. mile), shrinking to about 5 km2 (2 sq. mi) during high tide. This is the only coral island of Bangladesh. St. Martin's Island has become a popular tourist place. Currently, some (about 5 to 6 in number) shipping liners run daily trips to the island, including Sea-Truck and Keary-Sindbad. Beautiful Places To See- Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada

03:23
Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada The hamlet is named for the nearby Lake Louise, which in turn was named after the Princess Louise Caroline Alberta (1848--1939), the fourth daughter of Queen Victoria, and the wife of John Campbell, the 9th Duke of Argyll, who was the Governor General of Canada from 1878 to 1883. The hamlet was originally called Laggan, and was a station along the Canadian Pacific Railway route. It was built in 1890. The rail station building was preserved and moved into Heritage Park in Calgary. Famous for its teahouses, grizzly bears, grand hotel, skiing, Victoria Glacier, hiking and lakes (yes, plural), Lake Louise is what makes Banff National Park the phenomenon it is, an awe-inspiring natural feature that is impossible to describe without resorting to shameless clichés. Yes, there is a placid turquoise-tinted lake here; yes, the natural world feels (and is) tantalizingly close; and yes, the water is surrounded by an amphitheater of finely chiseled mountains that Michelangelo couldn't have made more aesthetically pleasing. Then there are the much commented-on 'crowds,' plus a strangely congruous (or incongruous -- depending on your viewpoint) lump of towering concrete known as Chateau Lake Louise. But, frankly, who cares about the waterside claustrophobia? Lake Louise isn't about dodging other tourists. It's about viewing what should be everyone's god-given right to see. When you're done with gawping, romancing or pledging undying love to your partner on the shimmering lakeshore, try hiking up into the mountainous amphitheater behind. Lake Louise also has a widely lauded ski resort and some equally enticing cross-country options. Thirteen kilometers to the southeast along a winding seasonal road is another spectacularly located body of water, Moraine Lake that some heretics claim is even more beguiling than its famous sibling. The village of Lake Louise, just off Hwy 1, is little more than an outdoor shopping mall, a gas station and a handful of hotels. The object of all your yearnings is 5km away by car or an equitable distance on foot along the pleasantly wooded Louise Creek trail, if the bears aren't out on patrol (check at the visitors center). The Lake Louise Visitor Centre has some good geological displays, a Parks Canada desk and a small film theater. The Bow Valley Parkway between Banff Town and Lake Louise is a slightly slower but much more scenic drive than Hwy 1. The hamlet is located in census division No. 15 and in the federal riding of Wild Rose. It is administered by the Improvement District No. 9 and is located beside the Trans-Canada Highway, 180 km (110 mi) west of Calgary. The background of Lake Louise is filled with views of several snow-capped mountains including Mount Temple (3,543 m (11,624 ft)), Mount Whyte (2,983 m (9,787 ft)) and Mount Niblock (2,976 m (9,764 ft)). Lake Louise experiences a subarctic climate (Köppen climate classification Dfc). Annual snowfall averages 3.3m and winter temperatures below −50°C have been recorded. Summers consist of frosty mornings and crisp, cool days. Snow can occur in any month of the year. Read more: http://www.lonelyplanet.com/canada/alberta/lake-louise#ixzz36qerpGmh

The Shinkansen (新幹線?, new trunk line) is a network of high-speed railway lines in Japan operated by four Japan Railways Group companies. Starting with the Tōkaidō Shinkansen (515.4 km, 320.3 mi) in 1964, the network has expanded to currently consist of 2,615.7 km (1,625.3 mi) of lines with maximum speeds of 240–320 km/h (150–200 mph), 283.5 km (176.2 mi) of Mini-shinkansen lines with a maximum speed of 130 km/h (80 mph), and 10.3 km (6.4 mi) of spur lines with Shinkansen services. The network presently links most major cities on the islands of Honshu and Kyushu, with construction of a link to the northern island of Hokkaido underway. The maximum operating speed is 320 km/h (200 mph) (on a 387.5 km section of the Tōhoku Shinkansen).[3] Test runs have reached 443 km/h (275 mph) for conventional rail in 1996, and up to a world record 581 km/h (361 mph) for maglev trains in 2003. Shinkansen literally means new trunk line, referring to the high-speed rail line network. The name Superexpress (超特急 chō-tokkyū?), initially used for Hikari trains, was retired in 1972 but is still used in English-language announcements and signage. The Tōkaidō Shinkansen is the world's busiest high-speed rail line. Carrying 151 million passengers per year (March 2008), it has transported more passengers (over 5 billion, entire network over 10 billion) than any other high-speed line in the world. Between Tokyo and Osaka, the two largest metropolises in Japan, up to thirteen trains per hour with sixteen cars each (1,323-seat capacity) run in each direction with a minimum headway of three minutes between trains. Though largely a long-distance transport system, the Shinkansen also serves commuters who travel to work in metropolitan areas from outlying cities. Japan's Shinkansen network had the highest annual passenger ridership (a maximum of 353 million in 2007) of any high-speed rail network until 2011, when China's high-speed rail network surpassed it at 370 million passengers annually. shinkansen tickets, shinkansen prices, shinkansen schedule, shinkansen timetable, shinkansen youtube, nozomi shinkansen, shinkansen map, tokaido shinkansen, shinkansen train preston reed shinkansen, shinkansen arriving, bullet train youtube, inside shinkansen, bullet train video, japanese bullet train video, bullet train video clips, japanese bullet train video, bullet train video for kids, solar bullet train video, japanese bullet train how it works, ride on the bullet train video, chinese bullet train video, toy bullet train video, bullet train video download, For more, please subscribe to: https://www.youtube.com/BeautifulPlacesToSee
Beautiful Places To See- The Sundarbans, Bangladesh (Searching For A Tiger)

07:59
Beautiful Places To See- The Sundarbans, Bangladesh (Searching For A Tiger) The Sundarbans are the largest littoral mangrove belt in the world, stretching 80km (50mi) into the Bangladeshi hinterland from the coast. The forests aren't just mangrove swamps though, they include some of the last remaining stands of the mighty jungles which once covered the Gangetic plain. The Sundarbans cover an area of 38,500 sq km, of which about one-third is covered in water. Since 1966 the Sundarbans have been a wildlife sanctuary, and it is estimated that there are now 400 Royal Bengal tigers and about 30,000 spotted deer in the area. The park is also home to sea gypsy fishing families who catch fish using trained otters. To see this pristine environment, you need to get a permit from the Divisional Forest Office in Khulna. With permit in hand, it's possible to hire a boat from Mongla or Dhangmari to get you to Hiron Point. From Hiron Point you will have to hire a guide to take you into the park. Sundarbans is home to many different species of birds, mammals, insects, reptiles and fishes. Over 120 species of fish and over 260 species of birds have been recorded in the Sundarbans. The Gangetic River Dolphin (Platanista gangeticus) is common in the rivers. No less than 50 species of reptiles and eight species of amphibians are known to occur. The Sundarbans now support the only population of the Estuarine, or Salt-Water Crocodile (Crocodylus parasus) in Bangladesh, and that population is estimated at less than two hundred individuals. Here land and water meet in many novel fashions, Wildlife presents many a spectacle. No wonder, you may come across a Royal Bengal Tiger swimming across the streams or the crocodiles basking on the river banks. With the approach of the evening herds of deer make for the darking glades where boisterous monkeys shower Keora leaves from above for sumptuous meal for the former. For the botanist, the lover of nature, the poet and the painter this land provides a variety of wonder for which they all crave. It's beauty lies in its unique natural surrounding. Thousands of meandering streams, creeks, rivers and estuaries have enhanced its charm. Sundarbans meaning beautiful forest is the natural habitat of the world famous Royal Bengal Tiger, spotted deer, crocodiles, jungle fowl, wild boar, lizards, theses monkey and an innumerable variety of beautiful birds. Migratory flock of Siberian ducks flying over thousands of sail boats loaded with timber, golpatta (round-leaf), fuel wood, honey, shell and fish further add to the serene natural beauty of the Sundarbans. This is indeed a land for the sportsmen, the anglers and the photographers with its abundance of game, big and small, crocodile, wild boar, deer, pythons, wild-birds and above all the Royal Bengal Tiger, cunning, ruthless and yet majestic and graceful, For the less adventurously inclined, there are ducks and snipes, herons and coots, yellow-lags and sandpipers. It is also the land for the ordinary holiday makers who desire to rest or wander around at will to refresh their mind and feast their eyes with the rich treasure that nature has so fondly bestowed. Ancient History of Hierapolis, Pamukkale, Turkey (A Full Documentary)

Ancient History of Hierapolis, Pamukkale, Turkey (A Full Documentary) Most beautiful places on Earth! Part of the archaeological site of Hierapolis The great baths were constructed with huge stone blocks without the use of cement, and consisted of various closed or open sections linked together. See Pamukkale Geology for more detail Pamukkale, meaning "cotton castle" in Turkish, is a natural site in Denizli Province in southwestern Turkey.

The main ethnic minorities on the valley are Chakma, Marma, Tripura, Pankua, Lushai and Sagma. Before traveling there, be alert about malaria. There is some body lotion or cream to prevent the mosquito. The place is known as hill queen for its natural beauty and roof of Rangamati. Marishsha is a name of a place near Sajek Valley. Most of the houses are made by bamboo. There is another place near Sajek, it is Kanlak, and it is famous for orange orchard. Most attractions of the spot are sun set, rain, morning, evening, and night and aborigine people. Tourist can buy aborigine people product from indigenous Haat. Roads are like big snake spirals mountains. Most of the people are Buddhist and people are Christian here. A new road has been built up to the Ruilui Para by the guidance of Bangladesh army. On the way traveler need to take permission from the army camp. Bangladesh army is very helpful and cooperative. Now mobile network is available here but limited to Rabi and teletalk. Sajek Valley (সাজেক ভ্যালী) Upazila: Baghaichhori (বাঘাইছড়ি) District: Rangamati (রাঙামাটি), Country: Bangladesh (বাংলাদেশ) How to Go: First you have to come to the Khagrachhori (খাগড়াছড়ি). Shamoly (শ্যামলী) will be the best available bus service from all. From Khagrachhori (খাগড়াছড়ি) you can reach at Dighinala (দীঘিনালা) using CNG driven vehicles. It will be around 50 taka per person. From Dighinala (দীঘিনালা) you can hire motorbike or any four wheel driven vehicles locally known as Chander Gari (চান্দের গাড়ি). It will be better if you hire the vehicle for round trip. Otherwise you may not find any vehicle during your returning. Probably our group has hired the four wheel drive vehicle for 5000 taka for two days. I am not sure about the cost. Where to stay: There are several cottages/resorts available for night staying (a bit costly though). These are governed by the Army or BGB. If you search at internet you'll find the required information. Also you can stay at the tribal houses. But that case you have to go there first, and then convince the villagers to give you a room. Japanese Shinkansen Bullet Train in Full Speed (E5 & E6 Series)

05:14
E5 & E6 series Shinkansen bullet trains are part of a new generation Japanese high speed train (also called Hayabusa) which was put into commercial operation in March 2011. The train is operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East). The high speed train runs on Tohoku Shinkansen, a Japanese high speed line connecting Tokyo with Aomori, in Aomori Prefecture. JR East placed an order for a fleet of 59 ten-car sets of the E5 series for delivery from March 2011. Though the train could run up to speeds of 400kmph during test runs, its top speed was fixed to 320kmph for passenger and environmental comfort, from 2012. JR East's research programme on the E5 series was initiated in 2002 to design a high speed train which could travel with a speed of 360kmph. These train sets were developed based on the former experimental high speed trains, Fastech 360. East Japan Railway released the exterior and interior design of the train in February 2009. The new generation E5 series trains are designed to be more comfortable and faster than ever before. It is designed to be a business and luxury car service. It comes with a premium first class seating area, called Gran Class.JR East's research programme on the E5 series was initiated in 2002 to design a high speed train which could travel with a speed of 360 kmph." The train features a long nose which extends 15m to the front. It prevents 'tunnel boom', the noises produced due to uneven air pressures when the train enters a tunnel at a high speed. It has a full bogie cover which is soft enough to reduce the aerodynamic sound. The mechanical noise produced during the running is absorbed to a large extent by the equipment and sound absorbing materials mounted underneath. The train sets are preinstalled with low noise pantographs fitted with sound insulators on both sides. These new train sets use only one pantograph device, unlike the previous models which use two, therefore helping to reduce the noise levels further. The two very important features in the design of the vehicle are the full active suspension (FSA) and Body Tilting System. Full active suspension reduces the vibration of the moving bogie. The centrifugal force is nullified using the tilting system installed to the bogies. The integration of these two systems detects and regulates tilt and lateral movements, thereby balancing the sense of shaking on account of the high speed at curves. These successively enhance the ride quality and comfort even at a speed of 320kmph and curve radius of 4,000m. The state of art braking system installed in the rolling stock intensifies the attachment between the rails and wheels, even at high speeds, and reduces the stop distance marginally. The interiors feature genuine leather seats and wool carpeting. Dark wood and metallic elements were used create a comfortable atmosphere for the passengers. Seating capacity and classes on E5 Shinkansen trains The train has three separate seating classes, namely GranClass, green class and ordinary class. It is configured with ten cars and has a capacity to carry 731 passengers, of which 658 seats are of ordinary class, 55 seats are of Green Class and 18 seats are in GranClass. The seats come with an electric power recline system with seat back, seat pad foot rests, angularly adjustable reading lamp and built-in seat reading lights. It features a foldable dining table and a cocktail tray under the armrest, as well as a power outlet for laptops and mobiles. Separate barrier free toilets compatible with wheelchairs are designed for disabled passengers, and special women-only toilets are also included. Automated external defibrillator is installed in the train cars for any emergency situations. Large LED information and guidance panels are established at the entrance of each car, so as to provide information to the passengers. Contractors for the Japanese high speed trains. Perito Moreno Glacier Calving and Tsunami Wave- Patagonia, Argentina

06:06
The Perito Moreno Glacier (Spanish: Glaciar Perito Moreno) is a glacier located in the Los Glaciares National Park in southwest Santa Cruz Province, Argentina. It is one of the most important tourist attractions in the Argentinian Patagonia. The 250 km2 (97 sq mi) ice formation, and 30 km (19 mi) in length, is one of 48 glaciers fed by the Southern Patagonian Ice Field located in the Andes system shared with Chile. This ice field is the world's third largest reserve of fresh water. The Perito Moreno glacier, located 78 kilometres (48 mi) from El Calafate, was named after the explorer Francisco Moreno, a pioneer who studied the region in the 19th century and played a major role in defending the territory of Argentina in the conflict surrounding the international border dispute with Chile. Ice calving, also known as glacier calving or iceberg calving, is the breaking off of chunks of ice at the edge of a glacier. It is a form of ice ablation or ice disruption. It is the sudden release and breaking away of a mass of ice from a glacier, iceberg, ice front, ice shelf, or crevasse. The ice that breaks away can be classified as an iceberg, but may also be a growler, bergy bit, or a crevasse wall breakaway. Calving of glaciers is often accompanied by a loud cracking or booming sound before blocks of ice up to 60 metres (200 ft) high break loose and crash into the water. The entry of the ice into the water causes large, and often hazardous waves. The waves formed in locations like Johns Hopkins Glacier can be so large that boats cannot approach closer than 3 kilometres (1.9 mi). These events have become major tourist attractions in locations such as Alaska. Many glaciers terminate at oceans or freshwater lakes which results naturally with the calving of large numbers of icebergs. Calving of Greenland's glaciers produce 12,000 to 15,000 icebergs each year alone. Calving of ice shelves is usually preceded by a rift. These events are not often observed. Etymologically, calving is cognatic with calving as in birthing a calf. glacier perito moreno photo, perito moreno glacier calving, perito moreno glacier global warming, perito moreno glacier tour, perito moreno glacier information, el glaciar perito moreno, perito moreno glacier video, perito moreno glacier rupture, perito moreno glacier tours, san moreno glacier you tube, glaciar perito moreno youtube, ice calving, glacier collapse, calving icebergs, hubbard glacier calving, iceberg calving tsunami, glacier calving huge wave, world's largest calving video, glacier calving sound, glacier calving surfing, glacier calving 2014, glacier calving 2015, glacier calving definition, Glacier Calving, Huge Wave, calving glacier tsunami, Calving Glacier causes Mini Tsunami, Iceberg Tsunami, perito moreno glacier facts, perito moreno glacier tour, perito moreno glacier map, perito moreno glacier wikitravel, perito moreno glacier trek, perito moreno glacier video, perito moreno glacier rupture, how to get to perito moreno glacier, Largest Glacier Collapse Ever Recorded on Video, For more please subscribe the channel on to: https://www.youtube.com/BeautifulPlacesToSee

The Most Crowded Train In The World- Bangladesh Railway (Must See)

08:15

The Shinkansen Bullet Train (speed 320 km/h) 700, N700 and N700A Series The Shinkansen (新幹線?, new trunk line) is a network of high-speed railway lines in Japan operated by four Japan Railways Group companies. Starting with the Tōkaidō Shinkansen (515.4 km) in 1964, the network has expanded to currently consist of 2,387.7 km (1,483.6 mi) of lines with maximum speeds of 240–320 km/h (150–200 mph), 283.5 km (176.2 mi) of Mini-shinkansen lines with a maximum speed of 130 km/h (80 mph), and 10.3 km (6.4 mi) of spur lines with Shinkansen services. The network presently links most major cities on the islands of Honshu and Kyushu, with construction of a link to the northern island of Hokkaido underway. The maximum operating speed is 320 km/h (200 mph) (on a 387.5 km section of the Tōhoku Shinkansen). Test runs have reached 443 km/h (275 mph) for conventional rail in 1996, and up to a world record 581 km/h (361 mph) for maglev trains in 2003. Shinkansen literally means new trunk line, referring to the high-speed rail line network. The name Superexpress (超特急 chō-tokkyū, initially used for Hikari trains, was retired in 1972 but is still used in English-language announcements and signage. Beautiful Place To See- Plitvice Lake National Park, Croatia

Beautiful Place To See- Plitvice Lake National Park, Croatia A national park since 1949 and a World Heritage Site since 1979, Plitvice (pronounced pleet-wee-cheh) is still relatively new on the European tourist trail, but certainly not undiscovered. Set at the top of Croatia's Adriatic region in a karsted area of the Dinaric Alps, just two hours from the capital city of Zagreb, the park is visited by over 1.2 million people each year. A sprawling limestone and dolomite chalk landscape of blue-green lakes, mossy caves, trickling streams and spectacular waterfalls, this geological wonder formed at the confluence of two rivers dates back as far as the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods. Most of the 16 lakes within the park are rimmed with curvilinear boardwalks that wend alongside the most scenic waterfall areas, allowing visitors to get a closer look at the craggy travertine formations created by the constant rushing of water over mineral-rich rocks. Humans are not allowed to enter the clear, clean water here, and the buses and boats that transport visitors through the park use quiet, non-polluting electric energy. Surrounded by a pristine forest of beech, spruce and fir and carpets of lush ferns, the park is home to brown bears, wolves and rare eagle owls, as well as over a hundred endemic species of both birds and flowers. For fans of orchids, this is a floral mecca: botanists have so far identified 55 species within the park. Beautiful Places To See- Five Flower Lake (JiuZhaiGou Valley, China)

Beautiful Places To See- Five Flower Lake (JiuZhaiGou Valley, China) Five Flower Lake 6th best in the world UNESCO World Heritage Five - Flower Lake (Wuhua Lake) Five Flower Lake (also called the Wuhua Hai) is one of 118 lakes in Jiuzhaigou Valley Nature Reserve, located in the north of Sichuan, China, are 6th best in the world. It is the most beautiful lake in the valley and is regarded as one of the wonders of Jiuzhaigou. Five Flower Lake is considered as one of the most beautiful lakes in the world due to its breathtaking colors which are a result of its lake-bottom travertine and colorful algae. The pride of Jiuzhaigou Valley, Five-Flower Lake lies at the end of the upper reach of Peacock River, 2,472 meters (about 8,110 feet) above the sea level and five meters (about 16 feet) in depth. Most of the colorful leaves are gathered in the lakefront and interlaced as brocades. The water that contains calcium carbonate as well as hydrophytes with different colors presents a versicolor sight, azure blue, blackish green and light yellow, etc, so it is named Five-Flower Lake. The local people say that it is a holy lake, and where there is the water, there must be flourishing flowers and trees. When looking down from the mountain, you will find that the lake with hills on three sides is just like a huge upended cucurbit pouring colorful water to the lower place. The pristine water of Five Flower Lake is the pride of Jiuzhaigou. The lake lies at the end of the upper reach of Peacock River at an elevation of 2,472 meters (about 8,110 feet) above the sea level. The shallow lake of five meters (about 16 feet) in depth glistens different shades of turquoise and its floor is littered with fallen ancient tree trunks. The colors of the lake are formed by mineral deposits, aquatic plant life and unevenly distributed submerged plants. Five Flower Lake's autumn reflections are a spectacular display of nature. Peculiarly, there is a pattern of a deer's leg in the abdomen of the cucurbit, 10 meters (about 33 feet) or so. The whole pattern is light green, while the middle part presents dark green due to the quincunx-shaped pits of the terrain of the lake bed. So the pattern is really like a spotted deer. The legend said that the deity of all mountains hurt the holy deer. that belonged to the King of Forest by mistake when he was seeking for water source in the mountain. The King of Forest was so furious that he chased the deity on the holy deer and wanted to kill him. Other deities cut off one leg of the deer in order to help the deity of all mountains. Then the holy deer fell down and became the colorful lake. Music: Song Title- FILM - BEGINNINGS Royalty Free Music from: http://Music4YourVids.co.uk
